Vignan University Admission 2024: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the exam dates for AP PGECET 2024, which is the entrance exam for admission to postgraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses, such as M.E./MTech, M. Pharma, and Pharm. D, offered in the state of Andhra Pradesh by Vignan University. The exam is scheduled to take place from May 28 to 30, 2024. Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research University (VFSTR) is deemed University along with AN ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFIED INSTITUTION was established in 2008. The moto of the university is Building skill India. Vignan University offers admission to UG, PG and Ph. D programme focusing on Science and Technology. The university has many departments for development of students. The institute also provide scholarship programs in various courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Vignan University

The Candidate must be acquiring certain qualification for getting admission in the university. Higher Secondary Examination (12th) examination in any stream qualified candidate will be eligible for admission in UG courses. Bachelor’s degree holder in the relevant subject can apply for admission in Post Graduation courses. Candidate must hold a PG degree for admission in Ph.D. programme. Admission will be based on an entrance exam or merit basis. The detailed eligibility criteria are available in university website. Vignan University Admission Procedure 2024

The admission process will be based on the performance in the V-SAT/EAMCET/JEE MAINS exam and the merit position of the student will be completely based on the above mentioned exams. He/She has to score a minimum 60% in their class 12^th examination. The online entrance test conducted by Vignan University is V-SAT. It consists of 5 different sections where each question carries 1 mark and with a total of 120 questions are set on the entrance test paper. Being a private university admissions are also done through the JEE Mains entrance exam. VSAT exam is known as Vedantu Scholarship Admission Test for JEE, NEET and CBSE from class 9 to 11. The university also focuses on life experience, leadership qualities and other potential.

Therefore, the university not only focuses on education but also conducts various activities for the students to freshen up their minds and boost their strength. LAW and Arts subjects are also available with the same criteria by scoring more than 60% in 12^th examination and clearing the common entrance exam.

Admission Counseling

Counseling is held for those students who have qualified the examination. For the first time Vignan University conducted the counseling for the admissions of B.Tech and B.Pharm. in online mode. A link will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address and mobile number through which they had to join the counseling process. Candidates need to upload all the scanned documents before the counseling process otherwise they will not be allowed to take part in the process. 

Merit List

Vignan University prepares a separate merit list for all the courses. Merit list is prepared according to the entrance examination taken and for some courses it is prepared on the basis of merit secured in the qualifying examination.
