Admission to BTech programs at IIIT Hyderabad is based on the JEE Main score. The JEE Main Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, 2026.

IIIT Hyderabad ELIGIBILITY FOR COURSES

For admission in different courses, candidates have required different admission procedures, respectively. The criteria of entry in any courses areas:-

• To take admission in B. Tech students needs to qualify the jee-mains exam or IIT-H college exam.
• For international students, admission will be made on the SAT score.
• To take admission for the dual degree that is B. Tech+MS, students need to qualify UGEE, KVPY Olympiad or LEEE or need at least 60% of marks in PCM subject in 12th class.
• To take admission in any PG courses like M. Tech, BE, ME, etc. From any stream, learners need to qualify the IITH PGEE entrance exam. 
• To take admission in Ph.D., MS, M. Tech, etc. Selection for the interview round will be judged based on PGEE exam scores. 
• And many more. Student performance will be a judge at last in the interview round.
