Undergraduate Programmes: Aspirants must have exceeded 10+2/ Intermediate Examination at an established board of education from the science stream with a minimum of 55% aggregate score. Postgraduate Programmes in NERIST, Nirjuli

Aspirants must be the holder of their Bachelor’s Degree under any recognised college or university with the associated stream and with a minimum of 55% of Total Score. University conducts M.Tech programs in six engineering disciplines. Admission to the same is on the basis of the concert in GATE or the institute’s own written test (NEPGET). Doctorate Programmes in NERIST, Nirjuli:

Aspirants must be the holder of their master’s degree under any recognised college or university with the allied discipline with a minimum of 55%. Candidate should have a suitable score in GATE in order to get admission to doctorate programmes. The Candidate has to submit the NOC from the company at the time of admission.

NERIST Admission Procedure

Application form is available online on the official university website www.nerist.ac.in  wherein candidates have to first register themselves using valid phone number/ email id.

Candidates have to appear for NEE Entrance exam. Other exams like GATE/ JEE Mains/ Advanced/ CAT/ MAT/XAT are also accepted.

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology released the merit list according to the different papers. The selected candidates can participate in the counseling session. The university provides one mark or two marks for the corrected answer and 1/4 marks deducted for the wrong answer. The merit list contains the name of the candidate, roll number, gender, category, rank, and many more details.
