IMATS is a deemed university was established in 2005 as Saveetha Institute of Medical And Technical Sciences. Although SIMATS is Private University re-accreditedby NAAC grade “A”. SIMATS admission is based on the entrance examination. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Science entered their name in GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for (a) Most (2619) people in a CPR relay (b) Most people (28015) to complete CPR training in 24 hours.

UG Course: 

BDS/BAMS(Ayurveda): All the students must be cleared higher secondaryexamination or its equivalent with their respective subjects. 

Apart from this students have to qualify NEET for BDS course. 

B.Tech/B.E.:AlthoughAll candidates must have passed higher secondary or its equivalentexamination with their respective subjects.

Besides, students also have to qualify either of the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or CET (common entrance test) conducted by Anna University.

B.Tech/B.E(LATERAL ENTRY):As all the candidates have to complete 10+3-year diploma also admission is based on counselling by Anna University through Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).

MBBS: Since all the students must have passed the 10+2 examination with their relevant subjects such as English, Chemistry, Biology & Physics with minimum 50% marks.Also, MBBS admission is based on the NEET score which is conducted by CBSE.

B.Ed:  The candidates must have cleared bachelor degree with aggregate 50% marks with their respective subjects.

B.Sc/B.PT.: Although all The Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary examination in science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) as main subjects.

For B.Sc. Course admission is based on merit list.

Saveetha University Admission PG Course:

M.Tech /M.E. –Although, the Students must have abachelor degree in B.Tech/B.E. their respective subjects.

Apart from this, candidates have to be cleared TANCET or valid score in GATE.

M.Sc.: As all students must have abachelor degree in respective subjects with aggregate 50% marks also candidates have to appear the qualifying examination.

MBA: Since all students must have a Bachelor Degree with aggregate 60% marks also have to qualify MAT/TANCET/CET conducted by Anna University.

B.A.B.L.(Hons) & B.B.A.B.L.(Hons): All students must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board.

Anotherstudents also have cleared Saveetha University Law Entrance Examination (SULEE).

Apart from this,students with CLAT and LSAT scores will be preferable for admission.

MD/MS: All students must have passed MBBS duly recognised by Medical Council of India as well as students also have to qualify NEET PG Exam.

 Besides, students should have obtained permanent registration from State Medical Councils of India.

M. Ed:  The candidates must have graduated with aggregate 50% marks with their respective subjects.

PhD:Although all students must have a master degree in their respective subjects.

Also, Students have to clear have to University entrance exam and followed by an interview session.

Payment of tuition fee and other fee

• The tuition fee is payable for the entire duration of the program.
• Caution money is payable only once at the time of admission. When the duration of program will be completed then it will be handed over to candidate.
• Must pay the tuition fee and other fee before the due date, prescribed by the university.
