UP Scholarship 2026: The last date to apply for both the UP scholarships is October 2026.  The Department of Social Welfare, a sector of the Government of UP (Uttar Pradesh) has newly issued the application form for scholarship 2026 for pre-matric (9^th and 10^th) students along with post-matric (11th and 12th) students for both Fresh and Renewal applications. Nirmala Sitharaman announced a budget outlay of Rs 35, 219 crores for the post-matric scholarship scheme for four crore Scheduled Caste students till 2026- 26 on Monday. The scholarship focuses on students who are going through a financial crisis and are unable to pay the fee.
