10 digit enrolment number IGNOU
IGNOU has started to give a 10 digit enrolment number now, who admitted in the January 2020 Or later session . It was 9 digits previously. What is the Control Number in IGNOU?
A Control number is automatically generated by IGNOU which is an 11 digit number when you submit the application fees at the IGNOU Online Admission Portal.
Candidates can check their application status by using this number.
IGNOU Student Login
It is mandatory for you to know your 9 digit enrollment number, program code, and birth date, if you want to log into the student profile section at http://ignou.ac.in/ You just have to visit the main page of ignou.ac.in and enter your enrolment number, choose the date of birth, select program code (i.e., MCA, BA) and then click on login. That’s all, you are now at IGNOU students login page.
Remember:- The new students having 10 digit enrollment numbers cannot login at the main page of IGNOU. So they have to wait for the portal to get upgraded by the head office. The old student can still access student profile on the section without any problem.

Reset Password
If you forgot your password but know your username then you can simply reset it at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/index.php/registeration/adm/request-password-resest by just entering your correct username and then you can choose a new password for your admission login page.
Note:- If you took admission before January 2026 session and you are an old student then will be able to login to the admission portal at https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/oldadmission/Login.aspx with your password , username, and security Or password code. The old students can continue using their previous admission portal to have access to their application details.
IGNOU re-registration login
To register for the next year or semester in your present program then you have to login at https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in by the enter of correct captcha code, enrollment number , choosing your program and clicking on the submit to login. Students of IGNOU can register for the next semester Or year here Or can check the re-registration status or details after login to the IGNOU re-registration portal.
IGNOU PhD entrance and open at login.
You must have to login at https://ignouexams.nta.nic.in if you have registered for any registration examination of IGNOU to check the application details and many more things. You forgot your application no then don’t need to worry you can also access again by following told steps. Just visit https://testservices.nic.in/examsys/Forgotpassword/ForgetRegistration.aspx . Choose your application number ,enter all the details correctly such as candidates name , mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth and then click on get application number.
When you will provide all the correct details you will be getting your application form number either on your screen or will be sent to you by the SMS or email.
