Eligibility Criteria and Qualification:
1) Clerical post-
- To apply for the Banking test, the candidate should be an Indian.
- He/she must be a graduate and +2 pass with a minimum 60% of marks to get the clerical post.
- He/she must also be 18 years to 28 years for the post. Most banks have qualification criteria of 10+2 and the candidates at most age of 25.

- The qualifying test involves multiple-choice questions that consist of numerical aptitude, reasoning ability, English language, and general awareness.
2) Bank Probationary Officer (PO)-
- Candidates must have 55%-60% marks from an acknowledged university.
- The percentage of marks will vary from bank to bank for the PO post.
- Candidates must have a minimum age of 21 years and maximum of 30 years.
- Candidates must have a fundamental knowledge of computer.
- The qualifying test will include data interpretation, general awareness, verbal and logical reasoning.
3) Specialist Officer-
Specialist officers work in the back offices and deal with human resources and technicalities of the bank.
- The qualifying test is held once in a year.
- Candidates are required to complete a PG course in any specialized technical field.
- Candidates must be able to handle modern technology, banking products, and services smoothly to efficiently increase the business of banks.
Computer literacy is considered as a preferred qualification for both clerk and POs post. Therefore, candidates must secure a certificate or qualification in Computer applications.
