WBUTTEPA Admission 2026-27

WBUTTEPA offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in teacher education. The university also offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in education. The admission of fresh candidates for the B.Ed. The Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University conducts an entrance test of 90 marks. This test has 50 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.

WBUTTEPA BEd Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the BEd degree programme offered by WBUTTEPA will be done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the university. The candidates should also have completed their Bachelor’s degree programme with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from an UGC approved institute. We have mentioned below additional eligibility criteria for WBUTTEPA BEd Admission 2026-27.

• The candidates should own the 10th + 12th mark sheet from the recognized board.
• In the event that candidates want to take admission into Ph.D. and Mphil. Should have done an integrated course with at least 55% can become eligible for the admission.
• If the candidate has a valid score in the NET exam can become eligible for admission.
• Consequently, admission into a master’s degree has fixed seat criteria.
• The university gives relaxation of 5% towards the candidates of reservation category.
• There is an entrance exam for getting admission into the university.

M.Ed. Entrance Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for M.Ed. entrance test is given below:

• The examination will include 50 MCQs type questions. 
• 90 minutes will be provided to students to complete the test. 
• In this test, marks 1 will be given for every right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.  

The CBCS System:

All the programs of this University shall run on the CBCS system. It is an international package which is developed according to the needs of all students.
