Utkal University of Culture Criteria for admission:-

• 10+2 passed student from recognized boards having minimum percentage of 55℅
• Based on merit admission on UG courses will be provided
• For PG candidates must have bachelor degree 
• Based on an entrance test candidates will be selected
• Candidates must have secure 45℅for getting admission in PG
• Students who are interested in M.phil program must hold MPA,M.VUS,MVA for admission and also be qualified in an entrance test conducted by the university.

Procedure for admission:

Admission to all the courses is governed by the rules and regulations as prescribed by the University.

Selection for admission in all post graduate courses will be done on the basis of Career Marking and Aptitude Test. (Career Marking consist 80% and Aptitude test consist 20%). Whereas, selection in M.Phil programme is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test and career marking (i.e. Career Marking includes 50%, Written Test consist 30 marks and Viva-voce includes 20 marks).

PG diploma admission2026-

At PG level UUC offers courses for MA in 5 specialisation ,MVA in 5 and  MPA in 10 disciplines and PG diploma program in 2 specialisation .

Students must have minimum45%for getting admission in PG and PGD course .

• Key points –
• For qualifying Candidates from sc/St will have a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks 
• On the basis of career marking selection of PG programs.

Utkal University of Culture M.Phil admission 2026-27

Students must hold  MPA and intake of 51 seats in 7 specialisation at research level.

Certificate courses-

Offers in 2 disciplines with intake of 64 seats

Students who are interested in certificate courses must passed10+2 for PG level candidates must hold bacchellor degree

Admission granted on merit .

History of Utkal University-

An act was repealed and Utkal University act was passed  in 1996 . At January 1967 it was operating from ravenshaw college ,before it come to own campus Bhubaneswar.

In India ,it is the 17^th oldest University located in India it is teaching cum affiliating University.

Research scholars-
