NUJS COURSES AS PER ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA
- BA: Applicants should have passed higher school exams with minimum 45% aggregate marks. 5% relaxation shall be provided to the candidates who fall under reserved category.
- LLM: Applicants must have a bachelor degree in law with at least 55% of marks from a recognised university.
- B.Sc.: Applicants should have passed higher secondary examinations with at least 45% aggregate marks and to the candidates who fall under reserved category will be given with 5% relaxation.
- M. Phil.: A master’s degree in law will be required for the applicants who want admission in this course, which should be with minimum 55% of aggregate marks from a recognised institute or college.
- LLB: Applicants must have his/her 10+2 exams with at least 45% aggregate marks and to the candidates who fall under reserved category will be provided 5% relaxation.
- PhD: Candidates must have a master’s degree along them in the relevant department with minimum 55% aggregate marks from well-known college or university.
- LLD: The requirement of this course is that, candidate must have completed PhD in the law field to get eligible for this course.

NUJS Certificate Program:
- Certificate Course in Business & Commercial Laws
NUJS ADMISSION PROCESS AND DURATION
- B.Sc. LLB: This is a full-time course, so the duration of this course is 5 years (BSc + LLB). For the admission in this course, candidates have to clear CLAT UG exam with relevant marks.
- LLM: Candidates have to clear CLAT UG exam for getting admission in this course with relevant marks. And the time duration of this course is 1 year.
- Ph.D.: For admission in Ph.D. courses, candidates need to clear the Entrance test and Interview round which is conducted by the institute. This is also a full-time course, so the duration of this course is 3 years.
- BA LLB: For admission in this course, candidates should have clear CLAT UG and the duration of this course is 5years.
- M. Phil.: Admission in this course, candidates need to clear Entrance test + Interview round and time of the course is 1 year.
- LLD: This is a 3 years full-time course & admission in this course will be given on merit basis.
- *CLAT is referred as a Common Law Admission Test that is a centralized test for admission to 22 National Law Universities in India. It comprises an under graduate and a post graduate entrance. The examination can be taken after the Higher Secondary Examination or after the 12th class for admission to integrated undergraduate courses in Law. This test if of two hour duration and consists of objective type questions.
