UP Scholarship 2026-27: UP Scholarship supports the education of students who belongs to Uttar Pradesh. Both pre-matric and post-matric scholarships are available for students who belong to SC/ST/OBC/General categories. The UP Scholarship portal is designed for the students of UP Colleges and Universities. The application process for this scholarship is easy and the application form is available for new as well as renewal candidates. To register as a new candidate, click on the ‘Student Login’ tab on the start page of the portal. After selecting the desired field, fill out the registration form. A temporary ID will be generated, which you will have to provide to complete the process. Then, enter your mobile number and date of birth. Once you have entered all the information, your registration will be confirmed and you will be able to track your status as well.

Candidates who are interested to do higher education but because of financial conditions they are unable to pay the course fee in which they are seeking admission. Application Guide of UP Scholarship

What steps should be followed to apply for the UP scholarship 2026? Where can it be applied? To make the application process easier, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched an online system for fee reimbursement and scholarship.

The students who are eligible can apply for the scholarships. Here is the detailed information on the application process you have to follow while applying for the scholarships provided by the government of Uttar Pradesh.

Step 1: New student registration

•  • Go to the Uttar Pradesh government’s Fee Reimbursement and Scholarship online system.
•  • Click the “Student” section and choose “New Registration”.
•  • Choose the scholarship you want to apply.
•  • Mention the required details marked with an *.
•  • To register, click on ” Submit”.
•  • Keep a printout of the registration slip.

Step 2: student login

After registration, click the section “Student” and select the “Renewal Login” option for renewal applications and “Fresh Login” for fresh applications according to the scholarship you want to apply.

• • Login by using your date of birth, registration number, and password.
• • You will reach a page having important instructions related to the form filling.
• • Carefully read the instructions and tick on the given box at the end of the page and click “Proceed”.

Step 3: Filling the scholarship application

•  • After clicking the “Proceed” button, you will reach to user dashboard.
•  • Click on “Fill in the application form”.
•  • Mention further details in the scholarship application form.
•  • Click on submit.

Step 4: Upload all supporting documents

After clicking on submitting as you fill the application form, upload your photograph and supporting documents. We will see further what supporting documents are required for UP Scholarship.

Step 5: Final submission online

Carefully check the filled information before making the final submission of the application form. There will be no provision of making changes in the filled information, after submitting the application form.

Step 6: Submission of the form at the educational institution

Once the submission of the scholarship application form is done, take a print out of the form and with other documents submit it to their respective institutions.

Documents required for UP Scholarship

The student must present all the documents given below for a seamless admission process. The documents must be original and authentic.

The portal of the UP scholarship permits its users to check the status of the applied scholarship. Whether applying for a renewal or a fresh applicant, your application can be tracked through its dedicated online system. The fresh applicants can log-in to the respective dashboards and the existing users can track the previous year application by the section “Status”.

UP Scholarship Renewal Process

Students can renew their scholarship if they already had taken the benefits of the scholarship last year. They can use the same registration number to renew their scholarship. While renewing the application, note that certain information has to be updated. On the portal, you can find the option and update and renew your application easily.

To renew the scholarships the students need to use the same registration number which they used to get the benefit of the scholarship in their previous registration. The UP government provides pre matric scholarships to the class 9th and class 10th students and post matric scholarships to the class 11th and class 12th students. If you are promoted to the next class from the previous class then you are eligible for the renewal of the UP scholarship. The renewal of the UP scholarship must be done on the UP scholarship portal only. On the portal, you may also find instructions that you can follow to renew the form and continue with your existing scholarship.
