University of North Bengal is the University that is affiliated by University Grants Commission (UGC) and NAAC. The University comprises of two faculties that deals in major areas i.e. Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts, Commerce and Law. Under these faculties there are various departments that specializes in different areas. The University has prescribed different eligibility criteria and students must confirm their eligibility before applying for the admission in their interested course.
The University of North Bengal has various departments like Department of Bio- Technology, Department of Chemistry, Department of Computer Science and Application, Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, Department of Hindi, Department of English, Department of Law, Department of Political Science and various departments.
University of North Bengal Fees Structure 2026-27
Students can pay the fees through online mode i.e. through net banking (NEFT on SBI and others) or through credit or debit card. If students does not have credit card or debit card then they can pay the fees in cash at any branch of SBI through the challan downloaded from the NBU-SBI Portal. Students will be able to download the duty filled up SBI Challan when they enter to the SBI site through the Make Payment link in the NBU site – dashboard.
If students choose to pay after selecting all the courses of their choice then a combined payment for Post Graduation Online Fee for all courses they have applied can be done.
