The procedure for the admission in the college is as follows: –

1)   First step is to go the official website of the university for downloading the form

2)   Second steps include filling up the form carefully with every detail asked and attaching the self-attested copies along with the counter foil of UTR no. or the transaction ID of the registration fee payment.

3)   The registration fee for the students in general category is an amount of 1000 rupees whereas the students in ST/SC/PH candidates have to pay an amount of 550 rupees.

4)   The payment is only allowed to be paid in an online mode in any bank that is nationalized.

The selection of the students of the Undergraduate courses will be on the basis of the entrance exam known as EAMCET. The students wanting to take admission for the course M. Tech will depend on their B. Tech marks that is 30% weightage will be given on the B. Tech marks and the rest 70% marks or weightage will be dependent on the PG entrance test. Here, for the admissions in B.V.Sc and A.H programs, candidates need to qualify for their 10+2 examination from any recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate having the following subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Similarly for the admissions in B.F.Sc. candidates need to qualify for their 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with atleast 50% marks in aggregate having the following subjects as English , Physics, Chemistry and Biology .

Accordingly for the admissions in B.Tech. candidates need to clear their 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with atleast 50% marks in aggregate with some compulsory subjects as English, Physics , Chemistry and Biology .

For the admission in MVSc, MFSC and M.Tech., candidates need to qualify BVSc and AH with minimum CGPA of 6.00/10 for general category and for SC/ST/PH category, candidate needs CGPA of 5.00/10.

Therefore for the admissions in PhD courses candidates need to complete their Master’s degree in any discipline from any recognized University in any relevant subject with at least 60% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. Candidates have to passed the entrance test conducted by the university and also passed the personal interview. Candidates who passed NET/SLET/GATE examination will be exempted from the entrance test. At the end of the first year, they need to submit the thesis on the relevant topic.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University Scholarship:

The State Government provided a scholarship of 962 per month to the Backward Class and 1200 per month to the SC & ST students. The UG students paid a stipend of 7000 per month during their internship while the diploma students were paid Rs 720 per month during the fieldwork experience programme. PG and Ph.D. students were paid a stipend of 9000 and 10000 per month respectively.
