Railway recruitment board conduct exam for non technical popular categories (NTPC) for both graduate and under graduate students in different zones.

Exam dates for RRB NTPC will be announced soon this exam is conducted to recruit 35,208 candidates on the post of station master, accounts clerk cum typist, senior clerk cum typist, commercial apprentice, commercial cum ticket clerk, goods guard, traffic assistant, trains clerk, time keeper etc.
Students who are going to give RRB NTPC exam must wear face mask, after every shift the exam hall will be sanitize.
RRB NTPC first stage is of 90 minutes in which 100 objective questions of general awareness, mathematics, reasoning and general intelligence will come. PwBD candidates will get 30 extra Minutes to complete exam that means they will get 120 minutes for completing first stage paper.
Application procedure
Candidates can apply for RRB NTPC by filling up the application form available in the official website of RRB. Candidates need to pay the specific fee that is fixed by the authority. Fees for general category and OBC category is Rs 500 and fees for women, SC, ST, pwd, Ex. Serviceman and Transgender category is Rs 250.
RRB NTPC Syllabus-
Subjects: General awareness, Mathematics and General intelligence and reasoning. Prelims and mains in both the exams the topics of the syllabus will be same.
General awareness: National and international current events, common abbreviations, transport systems in India, Indian economy, famous personalities of India and World, flagship government programs, flora and fauna of India, important government and public sector organizations of India, general scientific and technological developments of India, basics of computers, environmental issues concerning India and world at large, UN and other important organisations, Indian polity and governance, physical & social & economic geography of India and World, history of India and freedom Struggle, general and life science ( up to class 10), monuments and places of India, Indian literature, art and culture of India, games and sports.
Important general awareness topics are list of famous books and authors, Inventions & discoveries, Countries & capital and currencies, Tennis grand slam winners, list of countries and their national games and list of Arjuna award winners.
Mathematics: Number systems, Time and work, Menstruation, Elementary statistics, Decimals, Time and Distance, Geometry and Trigonometry, Percentage, Fractions, Simple and compound interest, Elementary algebra, Ratio and proportions, LCM and HCF, Profit and Loss.
Problems on train, problems on age, simplification and approximation, allegations and mixtures are the concepts based topics important for mathematic section.
Reasoning: Analogies, Venn diagrams, Interpretation of graphs, jumbling, puzzle, Number and alphabetic series, maps, syllogism, decision making, analytical reasoning, data sufficiency, coding and decoding, seating arrangements, mathematical operations, statement-course of action, relationships, statements-conclusion, similarities and differences.
Coding/decoding, clocks, calendars, blood relations, statement and conclusion, seating arrangements are concept based topics.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern-
There are many stages in RRB NTPC Exam:

Typing test: Typing test will be conducted for those candidates who appear for senior clerk cum typist, junior accounts assistance cum typist, senior time keeper, junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist and junior time keeper.
In typing test exam will be conducted for students equal to 8 times number vacancies. Candidates must type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi without using any tool.
Medical examination: Physical fitness test will be organized by RRB to confirm that candidates are physically fit to the post. Clear vision is one the most important medical fitness for railway candidates.
Documents verification: Candidates will have to come for documents verification after completing all the stages

Medical eligibility for RRB NTPC:
Every candidate has to face medical test because medical eligibility is also an essential part of RRB eligibility criteria.
Commercial apprentice, Junior accounts assistant- cum typist, senior clerk-cum typist, Sr. Time keeper and reservation clerk should be physically fit and Distance view: 6/9, 6/9 without glasses and near view: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 without glasses. These participants have to clear few vision test like Binocular vision, night vision, colour vision and field of vision.
Traffic apprentice, goods guard, assistant station master and traffic assistant should be physically fit with distance vision of 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses and near vision Sn o.6,0.6 with or without glasses while reading something
RRB NTPC is for stage 1 and stage 2 along with now it will be considered into 3 sections which are maths reasoning along with general awareness. Along with the job is divided into various parts starts from the junior clerk along getting promoted.
