Manipur Technical University is the first technical university of Manipur and comprises of various departments that deals in different areas such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and many more. The University has developed a separate internship cell. From the help of this cell, students gets an opportunity to apply their knowledge practically working in an organisation. The courses offered by the University includes eligibility criteria and students must make sure that they are well aware about all the eligibility criteria before applying for the admission in this University. Manipur Technical University Fees Structure 2026-27
The University offers a concession of 1/3 of tuition fees to SC and ST category students. The Manipur Technical University charge application fees of INR 500 ( INR 300 for SC/ST ) by Cash/ Online Payment/ NEFT.
Following is the hostel fees that is charged by the University:-
Hostel Admission Fee (to be paid once): Rs 1000
Hostel Rent: Rs 5000
Electricity and Water charge: 1500
Hostel Caution Money (Refundable) (to be paid once): Rs 5000
Mess Charge: Rs 14000
Students are required to submit Rs 5000 as a caution money and is refunded after the specified period of time. The University also charges Rs 300 as an ID fees, also they need to submit Rs 1000 i.e. Admission Fees (need to be paid once).
