NFSU Admission 2026-27: National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) has opened the admission portal for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The last date to apply for NFSU Admission 2026 is May 29th, 2026. Interested students can apply for admission online through the official website at admission.nfsu.ac.in.

Gujarat’s Gandhinagar is home to the National Forensic Sciences University, formerly known as Gujarat Forensic Science University. Only forensic and investigative science is covered. The National Forensic Sciences University is the first and only university in the world devoted to forensic, behavioural, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and associated sciences. It has the status of an Institution of National Importance. The Government of India formed it through Act, 2020 (32 of 2020) with the aim of addressing the severe shortage in response to the rising demand for forensic specialists in the nation and throughout the world.

NFSU Admission 2026-27

GFSU, also known as National Forensic Sciences University has extended the application process for eight PG Diplomas, four MSc, one MA and one MTech programmes. National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU)  was established in 2008 and is located in Gujarat. The university has three institte namely Institute of Forensic Sciences, Institute of Behavioural Sciences, and Institute of Research & Development. Through them, the university offers Gujarat Forensic Sciences University admission. Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is providing education since 30 September 2008 in Gandhinagar, city of Gujarat. The university offers training through three institutes:

• Institute of Forensic Science
• Behavioural Sciences Institute.
• Institute of Research and Development

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University Admission 2026-27

The university was formerly known as National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). The university has extended its last date to fill the NFSU PG diploma application form to July 11, 2022. All the students that are aspiring for Gujarat Forensic Sciences University Admission 2026-27 need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university. Admission to most of the courses offered at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is done basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university itself. Candidates with valid score of GATE, GPAT and CAT will be given first preference for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Management courses. GATE/GPAT/CAT will be taken into consideration for MTech, MPharma and MBA for admissions.

NFSU Admission 2026-27 Courses

GFSU offers several courses of bachelor’s and master’s degrees. It also offers various Diploma and integrated courses and also offers a Ph.D. program in many streams. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 pass with 60% aggregate (50% for reserved category) for Integrated BSc-MSc Forensic Science (applications are closed). BBA-MBA 5 years integrated admissions are also close. Applications are open for MA Police & Security Studies,  MSc Forensic Nanotechnology, MSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and MSc Homeland Security.

The leading courses offer by the GFSU are M.Sc., M.Phil, MS, Integrated MS, Ph.D. Along with PG Diploma and MBA programs.

Along with all the above courses, the university also offers M.Tech in Professional Diploma, Post Basic Diploma, precise exceptional specializations, and M. Pharma courses. 

Candidates who are willing to get admission in these courses must have registered before the 3rd week of June 2026. 

NFSU Admission 2026-27 Application form

Before filling out the application form you must study the eligibility criteria of the course in which you want to take admission. Every student has a dream to take admission in Gujarat Forensic Sciences University but for this, they have to clear the entrance examination. The university has asked the students to fill out the personal details in the application form that is given below:

NFSU Entrance examination:

In order to provide the final admission in M.Tech. / M.In Pharm. / MBA programs, the university publishes two merit lists on the basis of marks score in GATE / GPAT / CAT examination and on the basis of marks score in the NFSU entrance examination. It means, the university allots 50 percent seats to the GMAT / GATE / CAT students and 50 percent seats to the NFSU students. Whereas in other programs where the marks of GMAT/ GATE/ CAT is not applicable then the admission is provided by the university on the basis of score in the entrance examination. 

The procedure of taking admission in GFSU

The admission process is straightforward in GFSU. For applying for the desired courses, candidates have to download the application form from the different institutes. Some steps have to be followed:

• Go to the official website of the university.
• Hit on the option of the institute from which you are applying for the course.
• Click on the admission option and download the application form
• Candidates have to pay an amount of 1200 as an application fee as a demand draft.
• Fill the application form and submit it with the DD and all the required documents. 

Step by Step Guide to fill an Online Application Form:

If last semester result is yet not declared then also candidates can apply for admission. In this case, candidates need to enter the marks of semester for which they had marksheet.

Only those applications will be considered for admission in which the application fee is paid successfully. Also, application fee is non-refundable. Candidates will not be eligible if he or she is not able to submit the prescribed documents asked by the University on or before due date and time that is decided by the University.

NFSU Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

There are certain basic eligibility criteria which are set by the NFSU for admission to the courses which are offered by them. Candidates who wish to opt for NFSU Admission 2026-27 must ensure to adhere to the basic eligibility criteria set by the university for the courses offered. Before submitting the form for admission, do ensure to fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

• Candidates who want to take admission in MBA finance must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream with 55% of marks.
• Those who are willing to get access to the courses must be good in medicine/ pharmacy/ chemistry/ science disciplines.
• Candidates must have present in the entrance exam of GFSU IFS conducted in the first week of August.
• Consequently, any of the Pg courses. The candidates should own the bachelor’s and master’s degrees with appropriate 50% with the relatable subject.
• Aspirants should hold the 10+2 mark sheet with at least 55% of marks to get admission in bachelor courses. 
• Consequently, MA/MCS course required 55% into the bachelor’s degree.
• Although some of the courses required. All India exam as like GATE / GPAT for pharmacy.
• Consequently, if a candidate wants to take admission in B.pharm. The candidates should face the all India entrance exam. GATE/GPAT with at least 60% into their previous course.
• If a candidate wants to take admission to Ph.D., the candidate should have to face the entrance exam. Along with the university can also take the interview for admission.

Merit list:

The list of merit is published by the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University on its website. After that students move to the next step of admission. On the basis of your performance in the entrance examination, the merit list of the university gets prepared.

• After that, a home will open on your screen, and click on the link. 
• Now enter your login details and press the submit button. 
• A pdf of the merit list will open on your screen and should keep a printed copy for future use. 

Counselling and Admission Procedure:

After the entrance test candidates who are selected will be called for counselling and admission procedure are required to be present at the university on the prescribed date and time with application form, original documents and attested xerox copies of documents. If the university finds any wrong information then the University shall cancel the admission of that candidate.
