The application form for admission to MBA and BBA programs through GITAM GAT 2026 is now available. The GAT 2026 exam dates for the MBA program are February 05, 2026 (Phase 1) and March 06, 2026 (Phase 2), while the exam dates for the BBA program are March 31, 2026 – April 03, 2026

Courses list

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management provides various courses for the students. The courses are described below:

• The university offers a BTech course in different specializations and the fee is Rs 11.98 lakhs. 
• The university offers a BSc course in different specializations and the fee is Rs. 1.81 lakhs. 
• The university offers a Bcom course in different specializations and the fee is Rs. 3.90 lakhs.
• The university offers an MBA course in different specializations and the fee is Rs. 7.21 lakhs. 
• The university offers an MTech course in different specializations and the fee is Rs. 2.20 lakhs. 

UG admission

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management offers various UG courses for the students. For joining these courses you need to pass the GAT exam which is conducted by the university and you should score the passing marks in the secondary examination. 

PG admission

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management provides various PG courses with different specializations. You need to score the passing marks in the bachelor degree. For admission, you need to score passing marks in GAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT and so on.

GITAM 2026 Application Form 

It is important to note that, the application form is released and the last date is extended due to COVID – 19.

Application Fee:

The Application fees are Rs. 800/-

However, Offline Application Fee Rs. 800+Rs. 150, for application request fee.

This is to point out that, the fee payment can be made online (Net Banking/Debit card/Credit card) or offline (Demand Draft) mode.

Further, the DD should be drawn from any scheduled bank made in favor of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam.

It is important to note that, those candidates who pay through offline mode, have to send the hard copy of the filled form along with required documents to the address mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for various UG & PG courses:

 B.Tech/B.Tech (Biotechnology)/B.Pharmacy/B.Arch:

10 + 2 from a recognized institution.

Students must have Mathematics/Biology, Physics & Chemistry as subjects.

At least 60% For B.Tech& B.Tech (Biotechnology & 50% For B.Arch& B.Pharmacy

Moreover, B.Arch, students must qualify in the NATA/JEE (Main) exam.

M.Pharmacy:

B.Pharm. from a recognized institution.

At least 50% marks.

It is important to note that, GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGP) 2026 exam.

 M.Tech:

B.E./B.Tech/AMIE from a recognized institution.

At least 60% marks.

It is important to note that, GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the GAT (PGP) 2026 exam.

 

Scholarship:

The university provides financial support to the students and provides merit scholarship to the top 100 ranks on the following basis:

100 percent fee is exempted for the first year for those students who score rank 1 to 10.

50 percent fee is exempted for the first year for those students who score rank 11 to 100.

Important points: 

The university provides merit scholarship to 5 percent students in each department which is INR 2000 per month but this will be provided on the two factors which is given below:

• Merit of the student
• Income of the parent

The university provides merit scholarships to the students who take admission in M.tech. And M.Pharmacy courses.

How to Apply

It is important to note that, filling the GITAM GAT 2026 online Application Form involves 3 steps:

Firstly, the candidates have to fill in all the details.

Secondly, the candidates will have to upload their photos online.

It is important to note that, the photo should not be older than 3 months.

This is to point out that, the photo has to be uploaded as per the format:

Size: 40kb – 50kb

Dimension: 4 X 4 cm

Format: jpg

Signature

Size: 10kb – 20 kb

Dimension: 4*4 cm

Format: JPG

Thirdly, the candidates will have to pay the application fees. It is important to note that, all details of application fees are mentioned above.

Code of Conduct for Student

• Students enrolled to the university must recognize their responsibility towards university. If a students fail to maintain appropriate code of conducts then the admission will be cancelled of that student.
• At least 75% of attendance is required to appear in the examination. If the attendance of a student is less than 60% then he/she will not allowed to appear in the exam.

Counselling

The GITAM University conducts counseling sessions for the students who are selected and hold the ranks according to the admission criteria. The counseling is conducted online. You need to carry your call letter and other certificates to the counseling session. 

Merit List

The GITAM university conducts the entrance exam and the merit list is displayed by the university as soon as possible. After the list, the university conducts the counseling session for the students.
