IPU Admission 2026-27: The Indraprastha University is a state university which offers admission to several UG, PG, and PhD degree programmes in various fields of study. The university conducts its own entrance examination called IPU CET to shortlist students for admission to the courses offered by the university. Candidates who wish to opt for IPU Admission 2026-27 must ensure to get themselves registered for the IPU CET 2026 entrance examination. The online form is expected to be released in the month of April 2026.

Admission to some of the postgraduate degree programmes which are offered as part of GGSIPU Admission 2026-27 will be done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the CUET PG 2026 entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency. The last date to register for CUET PG 2026 was 10 February 2026.

Once the form is released by the university, you must register for the entrance examination. IPU Admission 2026-27 last date is 20 June 2026 (expected) to submit the online registration form.

GGSIPU, also known as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, was founded in 1998. The university was previously called Indraprastha University. Delhi is home to this state university. The Indraprastha University offers admission to a number of undergraduate degree programmes in various fields of study. The IP University has several other colleges affiliated to it. The Indraprastha University publishes a separate form for different courses. Fill in all details correctly because after submission you are not allowed to make any changes. Admission Process:

• Visit the online portal of Indraprastha University.
• Now fill out the registration form.
• Now select the exam category. 
• Now fill out the declaration. For example: fill the captcha, click on the I Agree on the box, or click on submit button. 
• Now generate your login ID and password. 
• Now fill in all general information and qualification details. 
• Now select the course in which you are interested. 
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000 for each category student. 
• For future reference, keep the printout of the application form.
• Remember to pay the fees online using different payment modes such as card payment, wallets, UPI, or net banking. Do not forget to print the fee receipt for future reference.

IPU Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Tech, the applicants must have passed 10+2 with at least 55% marks along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
• To pursue MBA, the candidate must have at least the degree of undergraduate course or CA/ICWA qualification.
• For B.Ed, students must have the degree of bachelor with at least 50% marks. There is an advantage to the B.Ed course, that there is no need to appear for any type of entrance exam. Direct admission is given to the students who aspire to complete the B.Ed course from the Guru Gobind Singh University (Indraprastha University)
• To study integrated B.Tech- M.tech, applicants have passed 10+2 with at least 55% marks along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
• For BBA, aspirants should have qualified the class 12.

UG admission: 

Indraprastha University provides a variety of courses for students to choose from, depending on their areas of interest. You need to obtain a grade of at least 60 percent or higher on the examination for the 12th grade.

PG admission:

Indraprastha University provides a variety of courses for students to choose from, depending on their areas of interest. To earn a bachelor’s degree, you will need to earn at least 50 to 60 percent of all possible points. You will need to pass the examinations at both the state and the national level.

The university held a test for admission called IPUCET, and it was given to prospective students. Students who wish to enroll in the university are required to first take the entrance exam, after which they will participate in counseling sessions. Counseling:

The Indraprastha University conducts counseling for providing admission to different courses. Selected students can attend the counseling process as per the schedule given by the university. The university will charge Rs 1000 for those students who fill the application form of Rs. 1200. The university will charge Rs 1000+ 1200 for those students who don’t fill out the application form. The candidates aren’t able to change their names in the counseling session.
