Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, it is situated in the ranch, Jharkhand. This university has named after Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, who is an Indian politician. Earlier, it was an intermediate government college; later on, it has upgraded to a state university under Jharkhand’s amendment act. DSPMU Admission 2026-27 Process

1)   BA- The eligibility criteria is the student must be having English as a subject and minimum 60% marks from a recognized board.

3)   BBA, BFM, BJMC, B.Ed- The eligibility criteria is based on the merit of class 12 from a recognized board and for the course B.Ed it is compulsory to have graduation certificate from a recognized institute or university.

The PG admissions eligibility criteria is as follows:

1)   MA- The eligibility criteria is the student needs to have a good academic record along with basic merit according to the criteria.

2)   MSc- The eligibility criteria is based on the previous academic merit and BSc degree from a recognized institute or university.

3)   MBA, LLM, MCA- For the LLM course the student should have LLB degree from a recognized university, for MBA course the student needs to have BBA degree from a recognized university and for MCA degree the student needs to have BCA degree from a recognized university.

4)   PhD- Students need to have good marks in their masters and bachelor’s degree as the admission is based on merit and from a recognized university.
