However, university select students on the basis of DAVUET i.e. DAV University Entrance cum Scholarship Test. They also accept renowned exams like JEE MAINS, GATE, CAT & other important entrances exams.

 DAV Eligibility criteria

As there are many courses available at the university but with different methods for clearing eligibility. Some basis criteria are as follows:

• For UG courses: a minimum of 55% in class XII.
• Candidates who are seeking admission in B.Tech programs should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subjects along with any of the vocational subject. The duration of this course is 4 years. Admission will be based on JEE-Mains examination marks.
• Similarly, for the PG courses: 50% in graduation.
• Candidates who are seeking admission in MBA programs must have a valid score card of CAT/MAT/XMAT.
• Also, for PG courses. the student must have a degree in the PG course.

Important Documents mandatory for admission

4. SC/BC certificate issued by the competent Authority (Where Applicable).

Final Counselling in DAV

The students will be informed via a call from the university for the final counseling. You need to carry all the documents for verification at the time of this counseling along with originals.
