DSNLU Admission 2024: Admission to DSNLU for the academic year 2024 is done through CLAT 2024. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Lists for BA LLB and LLM were announced on January 18, 2024, and the results were declared on December 23, 2024. Recently, the Round 2 Seat Allotment Lists have been released on January 27, 2025. Applicants can access and download their Seat Allotment Result by logging in with their credentials on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2024.

DSNLU Admission Eligibility Criteria.

Admissions are based on many different ways such as on the basis of merit obtained from the previous qualifying exam or from the score obtained in entrance exam. 

In order to say for the admissions in B.A. LL.B. courses candidates need to complete their 10+2 examination from any recognized Board having atleast 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC or ST candidates respectively. Along with that the admissions are based on the entrance exam.

Accordingly, for the admissions in Integrated LL.B- LL.M. program candidates need to qualify their Graduation degree from any recognized University with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or 50% marks for SC or ST candidates.

Similarly, for the admissions in LL.M. courses candidates need to complete their LL.B. degree or any equivalent degree from any recognized University with atleast 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks for SC or ST candidates.

Therefore, for the admissions in Ph.D courses candidates need to get atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the ML or LL. M. level. It is both full-time and part-time program. If a candidate is doing job so that he/she can opt for the part time ph.d program. The duration os this course is 6 years. But full time program course duration is minimum 3 years.

The University is based as a Law College. However the courses are based on the law subjects. All the courses are based on the semester system. Below courses are offered in the University.

Entrance exam.

Though some of the courses admissions are based on the entrance exams conducted by the University or the state.

Since, B.A. LL.B. admissions are based on the marks obtained from the CLAT Entrance Exam along with that their previous examination marks is also mandatory.

DSNLU Admission dates 2024

To go ahead for the admission process candidates need to check all the important dates mentioned. It is instructed to the candidates to check the official website of the University as there may be some changes on the dates and so on.

Now, the application date for CLAT entrance exam is from   01st January to March, 2024.

Whereas, the CLAT entrance exam date is from May, 2024.

How to apply in DSNLU?

Candidates who are willing to apply for the admission process must follow the following steps mentioned below :

Firstly candidates have to visit the official website of the University and download the application form from there.

Then, fill the application form properly with all the required details.

Now submit the application form with the application fee of Rs. 2000/- for Indian candidates, and Rs. 5000/- for NRI or Foreign candidates.

Along with these submit the required documents necessary for the admission.

UG admission

Students have access to a wide variety of undergraduate programs (UG) at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), which offer a variety of specialties. In order to be accepted into these classes, you must first achieve a certain score on your secondary examination. You are required to follow the admission process and present the relevant proof in order to be accepted into the program.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University Admission Procedure 2024

The admission procedure of the DSNLU is to pass the CLAT known as Common Law Admission Test which serves as the qualifying examination of the university. The seat reservations are divided for certain categories like out of 120 seats ,60 are reserved for the students of Andhra Pradesh ,48 seats are reserved for the students of All India General Category and the rest 12 seats are reserved for foreign national and NRI students.

The admission for the course BA-LLB (hons.) will be granted after passing the CLAT examination. LLM admission is done on merit basis whereas the PhD course eligibility criteria is scoring a minimum of 55% marks in ML or LLM. All the courses admission will be through offline mode where BA-LLB students have to register on the CLAT website and PhD students can directly apply through the university website. Only the students who are eligible will have to download the application fee from the university website and pay an application fee through DD . After the complete process,the selected student name list will be announced and those students have to go for the verification of their documents to complete the whole process.

The admission procedure for the international students or NRI is they can directly apply from the university website where 12 seats are for the BA-LLB and 2 seats for the LLM .

PG Admission

DSNLU offers a wide variety of postgraduate programs to its students, each of which can be specialized in a particular area. You are required to complete the requirements for a bachelor’s degree with a passing grade. In order to enroll in this class, you will need to first pass the admissions test and then follow the steps in the admissions procedure before you can upload your form to the online portal.

The candidates are requested to kindly visit the CONSORTIUM website regularly for updates.

The candidates should also go to the websites of NLU members to find out more about the fee that needs to be paid and the documents that need to be sent in order for their candidate to be accepted.

The candidates are also requested to check the individual NLU websites for further vacancies after the closure of the third list by the Consortium. Admission against vacancies, if any, shall be made by individual NLUs strictly in accordance with CLAT-2024 merit.
