About CA Foundation
CPT, CA Foundation was earlier also known as the Common Proficiency Test is the level one or the first step that one need to clear to become a chartered accountant. Now there is a perk for students who have completed their graduation they can skip this and directly go for IPCC Exam which is the second level of this course.
Eligibility Criteria

- There is no minimum or maximum age limit given.

Document Checklist for CPT Registration

FAQs
✅ Is calculator allowed in CPT exam?
Yes calculator is allowed in CPT exam but they are allowed to use only a simple battery operated calculator which should only contain 12 digits, up to 6 functions and 2 memories.
✅Is CPT and CA Foundation same?
Yes they both are the names that are given to the entry level exam for the CA course.
✅Is CPT necessary for CA in India?
As we told you about this in the above blog too that if you are going for this after your 12th then you need to quality CPT exams with minimum marks required but if you have completed your graduation then you can skip the first level which is the CPT exam and go for the IPCC which is the second level.
✅Can I do CPT after 10th ?

✅How many years will it take to become a CA?
