BAU Admission 2024-25: The Bihar Agricultural University offers admission to a number of degree programmes in the field of agriculture and related techniques. The Bihar Agricultural University, which was founded on August 5th, 2010, is a fundamental and strategic organisation that supports more than 500 researchers and educators in their efforts to provide graduate and postgraduate education, conduct fundamental, strategic, applied, and adaptive research activities, ensure efficient technology transfer, and develop the capacity of farmers and extension personnel. The university has 12 research stations located throughout 3 agro-ecological zones in Bihar, 5 colleges (5 Agriculture and 1 Horticulture). Additionally, the University has 21 KVKSs operating in 20 of the 25 districts within its purview. In 2015–16, ICAR accredited the university’s and its colleges’ degree programmes.

The university consists of six colleges (five agriculture and one horticulture) and twelve research stations that are dispersed throughout the state of Bihar’s three distinct agroecological zones. It was formed with the purpose of enhancing the quality of life of people in the state, particularly of farmers, and its goals remain the same. 535 Rs in Indian currency for the master’s degree. Although, the reservation cast has benefited and they have to pay only 285/- INR for admission.

If the candidates want to take admission to the Ph.D. course, they must have to pay 735 INR for the admission. Although, the candidates who belong to the reserved category have to pay 385/ INR for the admission.

• Candidates who have qualified NET/GATE/SLET examination will be exempted from the entrance test.
