In the year 2009, the university was declared as a private university. The university provides specialization in B.TECH, BCA, BBA, B.PHARMA, and B.SC. The university also offers post-graduation courses under the field of MCA, M.TECH, MBA, M.Sc, MBA, and M.Pharm. Apart from the courses as mentioned above, the university also offers specialization in P.hd in engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Business Administration. 

Admission in the university is based on merit list. The merit list is prepared by marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination conducted by university. The university conduct entrance test in both offline and online mode. It offers various courses in the fields such as Engineering, Management, Nursing and many more.

The university provides a clean, safe, and ragging-free atmosphere to the students. The university takes very strict action against those students who are found guilty of ragging and follow UGC rules. The university formed a separate committee for handling the cases of ragging. Baddi University Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

There are certain basic eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to opt for Baddi University Admission 2026-27. Candidates who fail to adhere with the basic eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission to the courses offered by the university. We have mentioned below the basic eligibility criteria for various courses which are offered by Baddi University.

• B. TECH- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology as a not compulsory subject. The admission will be given on the score of the JEE main exam.
• The lateral entry for B.TECH – the eligibility criteria includes that the applicant must have cleared degree or B.Sc degree with at least 45%. The admission will be based on merit.
• B.Sc- For Non – Medical the applicants must be 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology as an optional subject. While for Chemistry (Hons) the applicants must be a 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology as an optional subject.
• BCA, BBA, and B.COM- The applicants must have scored at least a Minimum of 45% in the 10+2 examination.
• B. Pharm- the applicants must be 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology as an optional subject.
• The lateral entry for B.Pharm- the applicants must have cleared D.Pharm from a well-known university while the admission will be given on a merit-based.
• M.Tech – The specialization includes Robotics & Automation, Power & Electric Drives, Software Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Production Engineering. The applicants must have completed B.Tech in similar expertise. The admission will be given on GATE scores.
• MBA- The applicants must have scored at least 50% in their graduation. The access will be provided based on CAT/AIMAT/HP/CMAT scores.
• MCA- The applicants must have completed graduation while 10+2 has mathematics as a mandatory subject. The admission will be based on merit. 
• M.Sc- The specialization includes Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry the applicants must score a Minimum of 50% in B.Sc. (Medical/Non-medical) with chemistry as a subject. While for Physics, the applicants must have cleared B.Sc. (Physics) with a minimum of 50% marks while the admission will be based on merit.
• M.Pharm- The specialization includes Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry; the applicants must meet a Minimum of 50% in B.Pharm degree. The entry will be based on quality.

Admission Procedure:

For the professional training programs, there will be a test to determine who gets accepted, and admission will be based on their performance on that test. In addition, entrance to certain undergraduate general education courses will be determined by the candidate’s performance on a test that was taken earlier. For students seeking admission to professional programs, either the university or the state or central government will administer an entrance examination.
