Ambedkar University Delhi Admission 2024: AUD Application Form, Courses & Last Date

Ambedkar University Delhi is set to commence its admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the second week of October 2024. The deadline for admission to arts, commerce, humanities, management, and vocational programs is tentatively set for 30 November 2024. Prospective candidates may apply online for the respective programs. For the academic session 2024-25, AUD will be accepting CUET UG and PG 2024.

The National Capital Territory of Delhi’s government founded Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi by a legislative act in 2007, and it was notified in July 2008. The mission of AUD, which is mandated to concentrate on research and teaching in the social sciences and humanities and is inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of fusing excellence, equality, and social justice, is to establish strong, lasting connections between access to higher education and academic success. The University is dedicated to developing an organisational culture that is defined by humanism, a collegial atmosphere devoid of hierarchy, cooperation, and the nurturing of creativity.

The student can pursue undergraduate courses as well as postgraduate courses. It also offers Research courses. The university provides facilities like accommodation facilities for both boys as well as girls, canteen, wi-fi facilities, library, medical, mess indoor games and outdoor games, etc.

Admission:

Ambedkar University provides admission to the students on the basis of merit. For this, you need to clear the cut-off of the university. You should have knowledge of the eligibility criteria of the university. The university provides various scholarship schemes to the deserving candidate.

AUD Admission Eligibility Criteria

For undergraduate programmes

• Should have qualified class 12 board exams with at least 50% marks.
• Also, there will be a relaxation of 5% given to backward category and PWD students.
• The students must have passed intermediate with 65% marks in English subject. 

For Postgraduate Programmes

• Should have at least a passed degree of bachelor from any recognized university.
• At least secured 45% marks in undergraduate.
• The institute is also providing a relaxation of 5% to backward category and PWD students.

UNIVERSITY Entrance Exam

Every year, the institute conducts an entrance exam followed by the counselling process for the selection process.

Steps For Registration:

1. Click on the tab “Online Application Form” and then click on “New User SignUp”.
2. Enter valid email Id and mobile number
3. Enter the Captcha.
4. Then Click on Register.
5. After that a unique User Id and Password will be generated on your registered email id and mobile number.

How To Apply for AUD

AUD Application Form Fees

The application fee can be paid in both ways line as week as offline. To pay offline, candidates need to visit the university. Or you can also pay through DD in favor of “AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY DELHI”. 

• The application fee for UG courses is Rs 300 for general category while for backward category Rs 130.
• For PG courses, general category candidates have to pay Rs 400 whereas Rs 130 for Backward category. 
• For MBA, it is Rs 1000 for general category and Rs 500 for backward category.
• For M.Phil, the students must pay Rs 650 for general category and for backward category Rs 320.
• For PhD, it is Rs 1050 for general category and Rs 525 for backward category.

Documents Required For AUD Counselling 

For admission, applicants need to submit various documents as per course requirements. However, there are some common documents which are supposed to be submitted for all.

• Character certificate. 
• Caste Certificate. 
• Leaving certificate of School or College. 
• Two passport size photographs. 
• Admit card (if any)
• Migration certificate. 
• Aadhaar Card/ PAN card/ voter card. 

Steps for Uploading the Documents

Students are required to enter their login credentials in order to access the AUD Admission Portal. After doing so, they will need to select the “Admission Form” option in order to continue with the document upload process.

Each uploaded document should have a file size that is between 50 and 500 kilobytes, with the least being 50 kb and the maximum being 500 kb. Only files in the following formats—jpg, jpeg, png, and pdf—will be accepted: Students are expected to click on the “Submit and View” button once they have finished uploading the documents. Following the completion of the submission process, the application status will be automatically updated to “waiting for document verification.” The status will change to “application refused due to documents” if the document that was uploaded is determined to have any kind of error in it.

AUD is able to position students in a variety of prestigious firms such as Microsoft, Amul, Google, Adobe, and Tata, amongst others.

The students get the opportunity to participate in multiple interviews in order to find employment.

Merit list:

After passing the entrance exam, students who are interested in enrolling in postgraduate programs are required to participate in an interview. After then, the Ambedkar University merit list will be made available on the university’s main website. The following is a list of the criteria that influence the Ambedkar university’s merit list in order of importance to the university:

• It depends on the previous year’s cut-off. 
• It depends on the availability of seats or the reservation of seats. 
• It depends on the difficulty level of the examination.

Counseling:

Ambedkar University announces separate dates in an online mode. If a candidate does not pass the eligibility criteria of Ambedkar University then they are not eligible for admission whether their names appear in the merit list. You have to submit the required documents for verification.
