AKNU University Admission 2024: The exam dates for AP ICET 2024 have been announced by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Sri Venkateswara University Tirupati will conduct AP ICET on behalf of APSCHE on May 25 – 26, 2024, to provide admission to MBA and MCA courses in Andhra Pradesh.

• This is to point out that, Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) was established on 22nd April 2006, by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly.
• Besides, AKNU is located in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.

UG Admission

The candidates’ overall merits are taken into consideration when determining whether or not they will be accepted into the undergraduate program. The amount of marks obtained in the AP-EdCET examination is used to determine admission into the B.Ed. program.

PG Admission

On the basis of a candidate’s performance in the Common Entrance Test (CET), Adikavi Nannaya University grants admission to postgraduate students (Common Entrance Test). As a result, admission to MCA programs is based on the total number of marks candidates obtain in the AP ICET.

AKNU 2024 Application Form

It is of the utmost importance to take note that the deadline for submitting an application to the ANU has been pushed back to June 2024.

In addition, the application deadline has been extended to June 9th, and there is a late fee of Rs. 1000.

This is to point out that, the application form is available on the official website: https://aknu.edu.in/

Therefore, the candidates will be needed to “register” by providing the necessary information in the appropriate fields.

In addition, after registering, candidates will be required to provide a photo of themselves and their signature in the manner that has been prescribed.

The candidates will then move on to the next step, which is to pay the application fees, once they have finished all of these procedures.

Application Process

Candidates need to fill the application form first, where they need to upload different documents along with their scanned photograph and signature. Candidates must make sure that they have entered all the correct information. Candidates’ registration process will be successful when they pay the specific fee. Candidates must take out the print out of the filled form.

AKNU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

10 + 2 passed from a recognized University.

At least 50% of marks is required to get admission in UG courses.

However, for PG courses, the applicants must have Bachelor’s Degrees in B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. Litt. and B.L.

At least 50% marks (45% for Sc & ST candidates) to get admission in PG courses.

AKNU 2024 Exam Pattern

Type of question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

No. of questions: 100

Duration – 3 hours

On the positive side, there will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.

However, each question carries 1 mark.

How to prepare for AKNU Entrance Exam 2024

This is to point out that, candidates must prepare as per the prescribed syllabus.

Besides, give extra attention to the subjects that you find tough.

Also, refer to previous year question papers for better preparation.

Ph.D. Admissions:

• Candidates who are seeking admission in Ph.D. programs, must have a PG degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent from a recognized university.
• Admission will be made on the basis of an entrance test and personal interview.
• Candidates who have passed NET/SLET/GATE examination will be exempted from the test.

How To Apply

Students need to submit the application through online mode only. For online submission, students need to visit the website www.aknudoa.in. A candidate is required to pay Rs 500 for general category and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PH plus bank charges that is applicable only for the mode of payment selected as registration and application processing fee.

AKNU 2024 Admit Card

This is to point out that, the admit card will be available on the official website.

Besides, candidates have to bring the admit card to the entrance exam.

In particular, the admit card contains all important details for appearing in the entrance exam.

AKNU 2024 Result

It is most important to note that, candidates can check their results only in the online mode.

Following are the steps to download results:

Firstly, open the official website.

Secondly, provide all the required details.

Then, click the submit button, and the results will appear on the screen.

After that, take out a few copies of the result, for the admission process.

AKNU 2024 Admission and Counselling

It is most important to note that, AKNU conducts the Common Entrance Test to get admission into various UG and PG courses.

Then, after the results are declared, AKNU publishes the merit list.

After that, based on merit list candidates are called for counseling.

Hence, the admission is strictly based on the entrance exam and merit list.
