CSK-HPKV Fees Structure 2024: The University offers a wide array of courses at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral levels in the field on Agriculture. The motive of this University to provide to all students world-class infrastructure, creativity, innovation, training, research, and practical knowledge in higher education. Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is a Palampur agricultural university in the Himachal Pradesh state of India. As an extension of the existing College of Agriculture, established in May 1966, it was established on 1 November 1978. The focus of this university is hill farming.
The University consist of four constituent colleges. The College of Agriculture includes 13 departments, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences includes 18 departments, the College of Community Science includes 5 departments and the College of Basic Sciences includes 4 departments. This University consist of world class academic, sports and co-curricular facilities.
The teachers in the college are very qualified and have different ways of teaching. The university great platforms for Start ups. They provides notes and PPTs which makes understand easily. They are available 24 hours. Even on some Sundays, they take a class so that students can easily get the syllabus done.
The motive of this university to create an education hub in the field of agriculture and horticulture in hill and mountain areas. Also, provide access to knowledge and skills to students from these areas so that they can serve the nation well and also meet with the global environment.

The Fees Structure is simply understandable and categorized into semester-wise. The courses provided in various streams such as; Agriculture, Biotechnology, Agri. Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries, Food Science, Basic Sciences, and many more. A student who is willing to seek admission in this university first has to meet with the eligibility criteria. He/She should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate (50% of marks for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/in-service groups, up to 5 percent to 10 percent in the aggregate marks, are awarded special provisions.
The courses offered i.e. B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc, B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D. For admission in PG courses, a candidate must have a valid graduate degree in the relevant subject. To provide excessive knowledge, access to knowledge, skill programs in the hill areas. For Ph.D. programs, candidates will have to pass an entrance exam conducted by the University. The Ph.D. is two types Full time and Part time.

ICAR Entrance Examination
The National Testing Agency will conduct the ICAR entrance examination for admission in UG, PG, and Ph.D. Details are given below:
Date of Exam: UG- 7,8 and 13th September, PG and Ph.D.- 17th September
Mode of Exam: Computer Based
Language of Paper: English and Hindi (UG), English only for (PG, Ph.D.)
Pattern of Exam: Objective type Multiple Choice Questions

The students can fill application form online and attach the required documents. The application fee for the General/ OBC Category is Rs. 2000 while for SC/ ST/ Persons with benchmark disability is Rs. 1500. The self financing candidates will have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 2000.
