West Bengal State University is a public university that consist of 31 PG teaching departments that includes wide-range of subjects from language, literature, social science, science, commerce and management. The University comprises of three different departments that deals in major areas i.e. Art, Science Commerce and Management. It offers courses under different programmes i.e. Under Graduate (UG) Programme, Post Gradaute (PG) Programme and Ph.D. Programme. The University also offers Korean Course to students.
West Bengal State University Fees Structure 2026-27
Students of the University are provided with various facilities such as Hostel Facility, Gym Facility, Health Facility and many more. The University also offers placement facility to students. The placement cell provides various training specially on the subjects that are related to computer.
The University has prescribed an application fees that students have to submit along with application form. Application fees for General Category Candidate is Rs 1000 and application fees for SC or ST category candidates is Rs 500. Students can submit the fees either through Demand Draft (DD) or through cash.
The fees for five month Korean Course is Rs 3000. Students has to pay this fees in two instalments i.e. Rs 1500 has to be paid at the time of admission through Demand Draft drawn in the favour of West Bengal State University and rest Rs 1500 in the specific time period given by the University.
