WBUAFS Admission 2026-27: WBUAFS offers admission to courses like B.V.Sc & AH, B.F.Sc, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), M.V.Sc, M.Tech, M.F.Sc, Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy, Ph.D etc. West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences or also known as WBUAFS was founded in 1995. WBUAFS Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
There are certain basic eligibility criteria which the candidates are required to fulfil before submitting the online registration form for WBUAFS Admission 2026-27. We have mentioned below the eligibility criteria for the UG and PG courses which are offered by the university.
For UG Programmes: Candidates who are willing to pursue the UG degree programmes offered by WBUAFS Admission 2026-27 should have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks from a government recognised university.
For PG Programmes: Candidates who wish to opt for WBUAFS PG Admission 2026-27 should have completed their Bachelor’s degree programme with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from an UGC approved university.
WBUAFS Diploma Course in Veterinary Pharmacy
The minimum age of a candidate should not be less than 17 years. There will be reservation of seats as per the rules of Govt. Candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal. He/She must have passed 10+2 education or its equivalent education from a recognized board. He/She must have obtained a minimum 45% of marks in aggregate.
WBUAFS B.V.Sc & A.H., B.Tech and B.F.Sc Admission 2026-27
At UG level, the institute offers courses like B.V.Sc & A.H., B.Tech and B.F.Sc to the students. These courses are available in various specializations. The courses are available for full time duration. The basic minimum eligibility criteria for all of these courses is that students must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks from any recognized University. For B.F.Sc course, students will be selected according to their merit in the qualifying exam. For B.V.Sc & AH and B.Tech, students will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in WBJEE exam.
WBUAFS M.V.Sc, M.Sc and M.F.Sc Admission 2026-27
At PG level, the institute offers courses like M.V.Sc, M.Sc and M.F.Sc to the students. These courses are of full time duration. M.V.Sc is offered in Veterinary Sciences, M.Sc is offered in Dairying and M.F.Sc is offered in Fishery Sciences. The basic minimum eligibility criteria for these courses is that candidates must have passed Graduation with 55% marks from any recognized University. For M.F.Sc and M.V.Sc, students will be selected according to the score obtained in the entrance test and interview. For M.Sc , students will be selected according to their performance in qualifying exam.
WBUAFS Ph.D. Admission 2026-27
The institute also offers Ph.D. degree to the candidates. It is a full time course and available in three specializations. The basic minimum eligibility criteria for every students is that they must have passed 2 years Master’s program with minimum 55% marks. Selection of the students will be done on merit basis.
