VIT Bhopal University hosts six schools i.e. School of Advanced Sciences, School of BioEngineering, School of Computer Science, School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, And Business School. These schools offering academic and research-oriented engineering and management courses both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Aspirants can opt for any school, based on their area of interest and future career goals. All the schools are equipped with state of the art laboratories to impart practical knowledge as per the current industrial standards.
Programs offered by the schools are, B.Tech in Aerospace, Bioengineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. Duration of these courses is 4 years and candidates have passed JEE-Mains with good ranks.
There are also 5-year integrated programs offering by the university such as; M. Tech in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science & Engineering, and Biotechnology. These courses are designed to equip students with basic foundation and collaborations with government agencies and IT companies. Some PG programs are; M.Tech in Computer Science, M.Tech VLSI design, and MCA. An aspirant should have a graduate degree with relevant subject from a recognized university.

Students taking admission in different courses had to submit caution money also that is refundable after the completion of the particular course. The Caution deposit varies from courses to courses.
