VikraMA Simhapuri University ( VSU) , Nellore embarked its journey in 2008 to fulfil the long-cherished dreams of the people of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh state of India in the field of higher education . The university is approved by UGC and AICTE .
The university offers post graduate and doctoral level courses in a wide range of specialization in different departments. MA , M.Sc., MBA , M.Com and MSW courses offered under PG level and Ph.D in various specializations are available .The constituent colleges of this university are VSU College of Science & Technology, VSU College of Arts, Commerce & Management and VSU PG Centre .
The admission criteria is totally merit based or entrance based followed by counselling. For post graduation admission, the willing aspirant should qualify graduate in relevant specialization and need to appear in university conducted entrance exam VSUPGCET followed by interview. For Ph.D, candidate should qualify post graduation with 55% marks from recognised university and need to appear state research entrance exam APRCET followed by an interview.
