Admission procedure for VELS University 2024

This university provides various facilities to the candidates. These facilities make their admission procedure simple. Candidates have three option to apply for admission into Vel’s institute of science and technology. A candidate can fill the admission by Online mode together with the offline mode in which By post, or by manually visiting the campus.

This university also conducts the Entrance exam for some specific degrees. Primarily they do the entrance exam for the PhD doctoral program, for some masters degree or particular course.

Eligibility for taking admission in VELS University 2024

Candidates can check their eligibility in criteria. Candidate has to score more than 50 % for taking admission in any UG and PG courses. Along with for some specific course it is mandatory to face the entrance exam or JEE MAIN score.

Consequently, for diploma courses, the candidate must be 10th pass.

Admission of Foreign Students/NRI Students:

Foreign students who wish to apply for the admission in this University are required to fulfill the admission procedure, complete relevant admission forms, provide all necessary documents and pay the processing, eligibility and tuition fees.

Eligibility for admission in UG Courses:

Candidate must have completed 12 years of formal education. Evidence of required academic performance must be in the form of certified english transcripts listing all the courses with grades scored. Transcripts other than english are not accepted.

Eligibility for admission in PG Courses:

Candidate must have completed 12 years of formal education at the school level followed by a Bachelor’s degree that must be done for least 3 years. Candidate must have an excellent grades to get a chance for admission.

• NRI students had to send some documents to the Association of Indian Universities to obtain equivalence certificate.

1. Degree or Certificate together with the year-wise Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Indian Embassy in the Country or its concerned Foreign Mission in India.
2. Accreditation status of the University in which the candidate has last studied.
3. Copies of the academic certificates from Higher Secondary
