Uttarakhand Technical University Admission 2024-25: Uttarakhand Technical University is also known as UTU. This is a state-run university located in Dehradun. It was established in 2005 and is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and UGC (University Grant Commission). This university has a good number of affiliated colleges and i.e. 132 within and out of state and it provides Technical as well as Professional Education. It was established by the Government of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005 and the main motive of the UTU faculty is to build friendly relations with students and devote themselves towards their development and growth. The University imparts education in various fields like Management, Engineering, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Pharmacy etc.

The teachers are PhD holders and guide the students at every point in the times of need. The course curriculum is best, it is relevant for the industry and the corporate world. The faculty members are supportive as well as strict. The teachers are well experienced and well trained.

UTU APPLICATION PROCEDURE 2024-25

Candidates who are seeking admission must have check the eligibility criteria. A candidate who are appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply to any of the course. Read all the guidelines carefully before filling out the application form.

ONLINE MODE-

• Candidates wanting admission needs to visit the official website of the University.
• Locate yourself to the ‘Admissions Tab’ and then to ‘Apply Now’.
• Application tab appears- Fill all the valid details asked in the form.
• Upload the scanned documents and re- check all the details before submitting the form.
• Once the form is submitted, pay tab appears- Make the payment as per your respective course and category.

NOTE: Application fees can be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card or through Net Banking.

OFFLINE MODE-

• Candidates wanting admission can download the application form by surfing the official website of the Institute mentioned above.

• Fill the form precisely and neatly with all the valid information asked.
• Attach all the necessary documents with the form.
• Post the form or hand it over to the main office of the University.

UTU ELIGIBILITY AS PER COURSE 2024-25

1. B. TECH: As this is a bachelor’s course, candidates must have high school mark sheet with minimum 75% marks and in addition to that he/she should also have appeared in JEE Main.
2. MBA: As this is a mater’s course, candidates should have his/her graduation marksheets with minimum percent of marks in aggregate.
3. BBA: As this is a bachelor’s course, candidates must have high school mark sheet with minimum 75% in aggregate, then only he/she will proceed to next step to appear in Entrance Exam.
4. M. TECH: As this is a mater’s course, candidates should have his/her graduation marksheets with minimum percent of marks in aggregate and should have appeared for GATE.
5. B. Sc.: As this is a bachelor’s course, candidates must have high school mark sheet with minimum 75% in aggregate, then only he/she will proceed to next step to appear in Entrance Exam.
6. M. Sc.: As this is a mater’s course, candidates should have his/her graduation marksheets with minimum percent of marks in aggregate.
7. MA: As this is a mater’s course, candidates should have his/her graduation marksheets with minimum percent of marks in aggregate.

Rejection of Application Form:

If a candidate has submitted more than one application form for the same program then the application will be rejected.

If a candidate did not submit the Xerox copies of the application form then the admission will be rejected.
