USTM Admission 2026: University of Science and Technology is shortly known as USTM which was founded in December 02, 2008. University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) will release its admission dates for the academic year 2026-27 on its website soon. The application process is usually conducted in online mode and the last date to apply is usually in the first week of July.
The university facilitates the students regarding placement opportunities. This cell introduces many mock interviews for the students. This cell increases the development skills of the students.
- The students have to pay INR 6500 for two-seater/three-seater rooms.
- The students have to pay INR 7000 for a two-seater room with an attached bathroom.

USTM Admission 2026:
The University was located in Meghalaya where varieties of programs such as under graduation , post graduation and PhD courses are done under this academic curriculum . Eligibility Criteria University of Science and Technology Meghalaya
It is guided to check the eligibility criteria for the admission in the year 2026 before applying for the admission from the University’s official website . As the University is offering different courses so the eligibility criteria is depending on the different courses offered by the University.
For Admission in UG programs, an aspirant must be passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
For taking admission in B.Tech. , candidates need to clear their Higher Secondary examination ( 10+2 ) from a recognized Board in any stream along with Biology of atleast 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC/ ST category students.

USTM MBA Eligibility 2026
Whereas taking admission in MBA , candidates have to clear their graduation degree level in any discipline from any University / Board .
However to take admission in the other Master degree courses , candidates have to clear their graduation degree level in any discipline from any University / Board with atleast 45 % marks in aggregate and 40 % marks for SC / ST category students .
Whereas for admission in PhD course candidates have to obtain for master in relevant subject with atleast 50% marks in aggregate .

How to Apply For University of Science and Technology Meghalaya ?
Since the college is offering both offline and online process of fill-uping the form . The candidates have to do according to the University’s guidelines .
For online process :
- Firstly go to the University’s official website
- Secondly click on the ” Apply form ” button
- Then fill up the form correctly with mentioning all its required details
- Lastly attach all the necessary documents along with the application form and the fee of Rs. 575 ( in Online mode ) through Net Banking / Credit or Debit card and submit it
For offline process :
- Firstly download the application form
- Secondly fillup the form correctly with all the required documents
- And then attach all the required documents with the application form
- Lastly pay the application fee of Rs.500 through Demand Draft ( in Offline mode ) .
Important Points for candidates:
- After the filling of the application form, candidates have to appear to the university to verification the documents.
- Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the last date of submission of application form can be extended.
