DU Admission 2026-27
Students will have to clear/qualify the CUET UG for DU UG admissions 2026. The entrance examination will have three sections First is language, second is “Domain-specific topics” and third is general knowledge. The third one is only required for DU BA admissions. To appear for CUET UG, the minimum eligibility is to pass the Class 12th. CUET qualified candidates will then have to register for DU counselling on the official website.

What has changed for admission in 2026 at Delhi University (DU)?
From 2026, the university’s first time is conducting Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to UG courses in the university. Students need to get the qualifying marks in CUET for DU admission 2026.
- Candidates are notified by the authorities to only take those subjects in DU CUET which they passed in the HSC level (class 12th).
- Who is eligible? Only those students who have passed class 12th are only eligible for CUET scores.

DU Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
There are a set of basic eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled by the candidates who want to pursue their degree programmes from the Delhi University. Candidates who are applying for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses for the session 2026-27 are advised to read all the guidelines before filling of application form. One must have possess Post graduation degree in the relevant subject with minimum 60% of marks. An entrance test followed by GD and PI will be conducted by the university.

DU Counseling:
When Delhi University declares the admission list then for allotment of seats the Delhi university conducts the counseling session. The students who find their names on the CUET merit list are able to attend the counseling session. To attend the counseling session you need to register yourself and select the course in which you are interested. For making the choice of counseling preference the girls can make 21 preferences and males make 17 preferences. Once you make the payment of fees then you cannot change the preference of counseling. The university allots seats in the preference college.
Discipline Rules:
- The university prohibited ragging and if anyone is found guilty of ragging then the university takes very strict action.
- The student should care for the furniture and fixtures of the college. The students do not have the right to damage the property of the college.
- The students should clean the campus and throw the garbage in the dustbin.
