TMV, Pune Undergraduate courses & eligibility 2026
TMV offers many undergraduate degrees in various streams. The duration is of 3 years. There are 8 B.A courses, 6 B.B.A courses and other 5 courses in UG level. The eligibility criteria for each varies according to the program. The final selection will be done after clearing the entrance exams which is conducted by the university.
Post graduate programs & Eligibility
The university offers post graduate courses in 17 streams. The admission criteria vary for each program. The basic criteria being having done undergraduate program in the same stream. Along with that there is also an entrance exam which is of multiple-choice questions. The durations are mostly of 2 years. Forms can be collected from the university premises by the eligible candidates.
TMV, Pune M.Phil. and Ph.D. admission 2026
The university offers 9 M.Phil. and 11 Ph.D. programs. For those who take admission to Ph.D. level has to work as research scholar for minimum period of 3 years. The eligibility criteria are mentioned in official website of the university.
Final Selection for Research degrees:
The final selection is entirely based on student’s performance on entrance test which is conducted by the university. After successful clearance of entrance exam, the aspirants will then be called for Personal interview. In order to qualify, the candidates need to get at least 50% marks in entrance test.
TMV Distance Education:
As of now, the university offers 9 distance learning courses under the Directorate of Distance Learning. The selection process for distance mode courses is done directly. The candidates who wish to join for courses via distance mode has to visit the respective study centre with required documents and mark sheets. There is no entrance exam. The admission is given on first come first serve basis. The marks obtained in qualifying exams will also be analysed before granting admission.

Candidates who are seeking admission to this university first should have to check their eligibility criteria after that they can apply any of the course whom they want to opt for. Candidates can collect the prospectus from the university office in which there are various guidelines given regarding filling of application form. The application forms will be available in the university office. Aspiring candidates have to fill in the forms from the office. There is application fee.
