Once you have given the IELTS exam, now you have to wait for a few days to get the result. If you give the computer-based test, then you will receive the result in 5-7 days. Whereas, if you give the paper-based exam, then you will receive the result in 13 days. If you want to check the results online, then you will require your passport and test date.
How to Access Your IELTS Results
Your IELTS results will be displayed on the Test Report Form. It will detail the four skills a candidate has tested and the overall band score. The results will be available 13 days after the test date. You have two years from the date of the test to access the results. The IELTS test results are available on the internet for 28 days after the test date. To access the results, log in with your ID or candidate number and then click on “review your results.” Once you have your IELTS TRF, you can print it out and keep it safely. You can also request a paper copy of your IELTS result. After you have printed out the results, you can collect it at the test centre or have it sent to you. Be aware that you cannot receive IELTS results via email or phone.
The British Council will send you an IELTS Test Report Form via post after you take the test. You can request for a copy of your results to be sent to your home, but be aware that it may cost you a small fee if you use a courier service. This is an opportunity to request a remark on your test results. If you do not feel that you have performed well, you can also ask for a re-mark. You can request to have all or some sections of your test remarked. You must submit the request for a remark within six weeks of the date of your test.
IELTS scores can be unacceptably low for some purposes, especially for immigration. If you are not satisfied with your score, you can re-take the test and try again. However, there is a chance that your results will not be re-scored. You can also ask for a re-score, but the chances are slim. E-mail: You will get the result in the form of the Test Report Form on your mail. In the case of a paper-based test, you will get the report in 13 days and you will get the report in 5-7 days if you give a computer-based test.

Request a remark
If you feel that you have not got the expected score, then you can request a remark online by completing the EOR within 6 weeks after the test date. But take into consideration that EOR paper applications are not requested.
