Admission procedure for applying for The Sanskrit College and University
The candidates can follow up on the online mode of use for the admission form. There is a time table for the online and offline mode of applying for admission. As online admission form starts from the end of the month may along with spikes in June. Then they declare the result of the first counseling. Likewise, in this process, the university takes online admission.
- Consequently, for the online process of admission. Candidates can visit the official portal of the university. https://www.sanskritcollegeanduniversity.org.in/Along with fill the mandatory details in the admission form. Together with submitting the scanned copies of the required documents.
- Pay the admission form fee. Submit the admission form.
- Henceforth keep a copy of the submitted admission form.

Eligibility criteria for applying for admission into The Sanskrit College and University
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria prior to applying for admission.
- Candidates must possess the mark sheet of 10th and 12th with an appropriate percentage according to the course.
- There are limited seats for the candidates.
- In the event, that candidate wants to apply for the admission in Sanskrit. Forthwith they must possess at least 60% into their 12th along with the candidate should belong to the Sanskrit subject in their previous academic.
- In the event that candidates want to take admission in Linguistics together with AIWH. The candidate should own at least 50% into their 12th academics.
- Consequently, candidates want to take admission in pali and philosophy, then 45% is a must for the admission.
- Therefore, English and Bengali courses need at least 60-70% for admission.
Along with this, the candidates want to take admission into the post-graduation course. Forthwith they should have to follow the eligibility criteria.
- In the event that candidates want to take admission in masters course. Forthwith they must have a bachelor’s degree with a relevant subject. Along with the mark, the sheet should be off 45%
- Along with the university provide 10% relaxation to the reserved category people.
The university follows the reservation criteria, which is in force by the government. The university provides 22% and 6% seats for the reservation category. Along with 3% seats is for the PWD category candidates. The government fixes these seats percentages, and all these rules and regulations for the reservation category comes under the government’s laws.
General Instructions to Aspirants:
- It is required that students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for applying to any course.
- The Merit Index will be best on such a formula which is: Merit Index= Best Four + Marks secured at HS level.
