IOCL Scholarship 2024-25: The Indian Oil Educational Scholarship scheme or commonly called the IOCL scholarship is a scheme for students were pursuing ITI, engineering, MBA, and MBBS teams and is an initiative of the Indian Oil Corporation limited. A total number of 2600 scholarships are provided every year out of which 2000 scholarships are reserved for the 10+ or ITI students, 300 of them are for engineering students, 200 of them are for MBBS students, and the remaining hundred or four MBA degrees. There are also other exclusive reservations for female students, physically challenged students, and students from the Eastern and Jammu and Kashmir region. The distribution of the very first category of scholarships that is the 2,000 scholarship that are reserved for the ITI and 10+ students is based on their location that depends on the admission of the candidate:
North: Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and UT of Chandigarh.

IOCL Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled by the candidates who are willing to opt for IOCL Scholarships. We have mentioned the basic eligibility criteria which are to be mandatorily be fulfilled by the candidates. Those who fail to comply with the eligibility criteria will not be offered the scholarship.
- MBA: Students enrolled in the first year of a post graduation course that is in management or in the field of business administration become eligible for the scholarship.
- MBBS: Students enrolled in the first year of a full-time MBBS degree become eligible for the scholarship.
- Engineering: students enrolled in the first year of a full time engineering degree become eligible for the scholarship.
- 10+2: Students who are in their 11th standard become eligible.
- ITI: students were enrolled in the first year of a two year ITI course.
Age limit: students were applying for this university must be between the age group of 15 to 30 years. Physically challenged students have a relaxation of 10 years, SC/ST students have a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates have it for 3 years.

Terms and conditions:
- The students are eligible for the scholarship when their parents gross income does not exceed Rs. 100000. You have to submit the income certificate which is issued by the State / UT / Central Governments civil authorities which states that your certificate will meet the requirement of the scholarship which is made by the authorities. They will not accept any affidavit because it can not count as valid evidence.
- The limit of age is set by the authorities. The minimum age will be 15 years and maximum age will be 30 years.
- The authorities reserved 49.5 percent seats for the reserved class students.
- The students who get their names in the top 10 or top 3 in the Merit List Graduate-Post Graduate program then Rs. 10000 will be awarded to those students only.
- The Indian Oil Educational Scholarship scheme also has a provision for the Bonus Prize. So basically, the candidates who are in the top 10 in 10 + or top 3 in graduate /post-graduate courses will receive a Bonus Prize of INR 10K and they will be invited at the cost of IOCL for receiving the prize.

IOCL scholarship Guidelines
- The name in the application form and the documents should be the same. Any change in the name or spelling mistakes in the name can cause a huge problem in the end.
- Application can be rejected if improper or inappropriate documents are uploaded
- General category students need not to attach the caste certificate. Other than the general candidates that are SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates have to present the caste category certificate compulsorily.
- The candidates who submit applications with invalid Caste Certificates will considered against General Category.
- The candidates have to provide valid and active e-mail addresses and mobile numbers while filling out the online application form.
- Candidate’s must be holding their own bank account. The bank account should be an account of the nationalized bank only. The bank account should not be a joint account.
- All the documents should be attested by the HOD or Principal. Without the attesting the documents, the documents cannot be accepted.
- The wards of the employees of IOCL or its Joint Venture and Subsidiary companies and Consultants are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The installment of the IOCL scholarship will be released for 12 months by demand draft and further installments will be given on six monthly bases through NEFT/Bank Transfer.
