IOCL Scholarship 2024-25: The Indian Oil Educational Scholarship scheme or commonly called the IOCL scholarship is a scheme for students were pursuing ITI,  engineering, MBA, and MBBS teams and is an initiative of the Indian Oil Corporation limited. The main purpose of providing scholarships to students is of providing financial help to students who are meritorious and can make the best use of opportunities. A total number of 2600 scholarships are provided every year out of which 2000 scholarships are reserved for the 10+ or ITI students, 300 of them are for engineering students, 200 of them are for MBBS students, and the remaining hundred or four MBA degrees. There are also other exclusive reservations for female students, physically challenged students, and students from the Eastern and Jammu and Kashmir region. The scholarship amount under the Indian Oil Educational Scholarship scheme is subject to change as per the new notification issued by the organization. The students should take note of it.

Important Dates of IOCL Scholarship 2024

The official notice for the release of the application form for IOCL Scholarship 2024 has not yet been released by the organization. It is expected to be released soon on their official website. We have mentioned below the tentative schedule for IOCL Scholarship 2024 and the related processes.

The distribution of the very first category of scholarships that is the 2,000 scholarship that are reserved for the ITI and 10+ students is based on their location that depends on the admission of the candidate:

North: Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and UT of Chandigarh.

East: Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand.

South: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh

West: Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh,  Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.

The North Eastern States, Sikkim and Islands: Sikkim, Tripura, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Islands.

Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Kashmir.

The left over 600 scholarships are distributed among the students on the basis of their zones.

IOCL Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled by the candidates who are willing to opt for IOCL Scholarships. We have mentioned the basic eligibility criteria which are to be mandatorily be fulfilled by the candidates. Those who fail to comply with the eligibility criteria will not be offered the scholarship.

• MBA: Students enrolled in the first year of a post graduation course that is in management or in the field of business administration become eligible for the scholarship.
• MBBS: Students enrolled in the first year of a full-time MBBS degree become eligible for the scholarship.
• Engineering: students enrolled in the first year of a full time engineering degree become eligible for the scholarship.
• 10+2: Students who are in their 11th standard become eligible.
• ITI: students were enrolled in the first year of a two year ITI course.

Age limit: students were applying for this university must be between the age group of 15 to 30 years. Physically challenged students have a relaxation of 10 years, SC/ST students have a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates have it for 3 years.

IOCL Scholarship 2024-25 Application Process

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited has its online application portal where it releases the online registration form for IOCL Scholarship 2024-25. Candidates who wish to opt for the scholarship are required to complete the online registration for it. • Students of class 11, first year of a two year ITI course, student in the first year of engineering, MBBS or MBA  degree can apply by filling the online application form.

Documents Required

There are certain documents which are to be uploaded by the candidates while submitting the online registration form for IOCL Scholarship 2024. Those who fail to upload the original documents in the format specified on the portal will not be offered the scholarship. We have mentioned below the documents which are necessary to be uploaded on the official portal.

• Aadhar Card
• Caste certificate
• Any id proof bank account
• Income certificate
• Last year’s exam marksheet, etc. 

Terms and conditions:

• The students are eligible for the scholarship when their parents gross income does not exceed Rs. 100000. You have to submit the income certificate which is issued by the State / UT / Central Governments civil authorities which states that your certificate will meet the requirement of the scholarship which is made by the authorities. They will not accept any affidavit because it can not count as valid evidence. 
• The limit of age is set by the authorities. The minimum age will be 15 years and maximum age will be 30 years.
• The authorities reserved 49.5 percent seats for the reserved class students.
• The students who get their names in the top 10 or top 3 in the Merit List Graduate-Post Graduate program then Rs. 10000 will be awarded to those students only. 
• The Indian Oil Educational Scholarship scheme also has a provision for the Bonus Prize. So basically, the candidates who are in the top 10 in 10 + or top 3 in graduate /post-graduate courses will receive a Bonus Prize of INR 10K and they will be invited at the cost of IOCL for receiving the prize.

INDIAN OIL ‘ACERS’ SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR UPCOMING SPORTSPERSONS 2024

The application for the INDIAN OIL ‘ACERS’ SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR UPCOMING SPORTSPERSONS 2024 will be accepted from 1st June to 30th June 2024. The candidates must fill out the scholarship form in the stipulated time only.

The selection process of the IOCL scholarship:

Eligible students for the IOCL scholarship are selected on the basis of their family financial income. The detailed steps of the selection process for the IOCL scholarship are given below:

• The candidate whose annual family income is less than INR 100000
• Candidates who are shortlisted will get the information about all the important documents like the caste certificate, the income certificate, or the date of birth, etc. through post.
• The Students who clear all the eligibility criteria will there by, be selected
• The decision taken by the Indian Oil corporation will be final and binding.

IOCL scholarship Guidelines

• The name in the application form and the documents should be the same. Any change in the name or spelling mistakes in the name can cause a huge problem in the end.
• Application can be rejected if improper or inappropriate documents are uploaded
• General category students need not to attach the caste certificate. Other than the general candidates that are SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates have to present the caste category certificate compulsorily.
• The candidates who submit applications with invalid Caste Certificates will considered against General Category.
• The candidates have to provide valid and active e-mail addresses and mobile numbers while filling out the online application form.
• Candidate’s must be holding their own bank account. The bank account should be an account of the nationalized bank only. The bank account should not be a joint account.
• All the documents should be attested by the HOD or Principal. Without the attesting the documents, the documents cannot be accepted.
• The wards of the employees of IOCL or its Joint Venture and Subsidiary companies and Consultants are not eligible for this scholarship.
• The installment of the IOCL scholarship will be released for 12 months by demand draft and further installments will be given on six monthly bases through NEFT/Bank Transfer.
