TISS Admission 2024: Tata Institute of Social Sciences is one of the deemed universities located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The university offers about 60 courses in 14 streams and 15 specializations. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has released the admission dates for 2024. The application process for TISSNET 2024 will begin on December 14, 2022, and will end on January 28, 2024. The TISSNET exam will be held on February 25, 2024. The TISSNET results will be declared on June 14, 2024. The TISS GD/PI will be held on June 25-26, 2024.

TISS Eligibility criteria:

There is an entrance exam conducted to enrol in various programs of the university. Admission to various post graduate programs is based on TISSNET. The university offers MA degree in various streams. The criteria for each program are specified in the university’s official website. The fees for various programs are also mentioned in the website.

Documents Required:

To apply for any program in the university, student has to submit the following documents:

Passport size photo
Copy of challan
Caste certificate
In case of Kashmiri migrants, PWD and Armed forces, certificate in support of the same.

Reservations:

There are reservations made for students belonging to OBC and SC/ST category. If its for scheduled castes 15% of total seats is reserved. For scheduled tribe it 7.5% and for OBC 27% respectively. In case of non-availability of students, it can be interchanged or left vacant.

TISS Admission process 2024:

University conducts its own exams on which the final selection is done. Admission is based on TISSNET score and as per performance of students in pre interview and personal interview tests. The weightage is as below:

TISSNET score- 40%

Pre-interview test – 30%

Personal interview – 30%

For international students, the process is bit different. It is based on IET score and performance in skype interview.

How to Apply in TISS?

Candidates are required to apply online for those programs in which they are seeking admission. Please read all the instructions which are given on the page of official website before filling the application form. Candidates who are from remote areas where no technology or internet connection can get a printed copy of application form from the institute.

TISS Important Dates Admission 2024:

The application forms will be available on website from Oct 18 till November 30 for TISSNET 2024 online registration. The last date for offline registration is on Dec 2024. From December 14 to January 6, 2024 admit cards would be released. These dates are tentative as of now. Final dates will be released in official website from where the aspiring students can know details regarding to there respective courses.
