SYMBIOSIS SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS [SSPU] 2024-25: Established in the year of 1971, by visionary educationist Padma Bhushan Dr. Shantaram Balwant Mujumdar in light of ‘home away from home’ for foreign students studying in Pune. Symbiosis Open Education Society notably coupled with the idea of Skill India mission announced the establishment of Maharashtra’s first Skills Development University called Symbiosis Skills and Professional University at Kiwale, Pune.

Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) Admission Dates 2024 are as follows:

• Application form release: February 25, 2024
• Last date to apply: May 31, 2024
• Entrance exam (SSPU Entrance Test): June 12, 2024
• Result announcement: June 30, 2024
• Counseling: July 10-15, 2024
• Reporting date: July 20, 2024

The university provides Hostel accommodation to students on twin sharing basis. The rooms are attached to bathroom and wardrobe. The students are placed in well reupdated companies such as Tata Motors, Nichrome, Rayna and many more.

The university has its own individual placement cell that is responsible for all the activities related to the placement. This cell provides internship opportunities also that prepare the students for the work environment. This cell provides training to the students that increase the skills that companies want in their candidates.

Provided that partnership with industry for joint curricula development, job training, skill training, joint applied research projects, etc. will be granted by the University.

SSPU Admission Process

The applicant needs to follow up with the following procedure to complete the admission process.

All UG Admission (other than B.Arch.) & PGD Programs (Indian & International)

• Fill the Application form online, provided by the official website ( Link Here! ) with complete detailed information. In order to avoid any error while filling the form, keep all documents next to you.
• Next, pay the Application form fee which is Rs 1000, and Reserve a Time-Slot after paying a fee.
• Further, Upload Documents and Submit the form.
• Without delay visit the University on the Reserved Date and Time.
• Finally, Appear for Personal Interview.
• In due time wait for Merit List to published before the end of the day and Check for your name.
• If selected, collect the provisional admission letter and pay fees within 2 days.

SSPU Admission to B.Arch. (Indian & International).

• Register Online (Click Here!) with complete detailed information without any error to avoid rejection of the form.
• Pay the Application form fee Rs 1000, and Reserve a Time-Slot.
• Next, submit the form together with the required documents.
• Upload scores of NATA/JEE Mains as made mandatory by Council of Architecture.
• Finally, appear for Personal Interview.
• Meanwhile, check for merit list published as per Rounds announced
• If selected, collect provisional admission letter and pay fees within 2 days.

Students can also apply for lateral entry admission if they qualify the eligibility criteria set by University. 

• Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% mark (40% for Reserved Category) respective to their branch of admission
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from recognized University defined by UGC with 45% (40% for Reserved Category) and 10 + 2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed or Pursuing 10+2 with Science stream for UG admissions.

NATA/JEE Mains Scores for B.Arch. Stream.
