The deadline for submitting the SRM University 2026 Application Form has been extended until May 5th, 2026 through CUET PG. SRM University, also known as SRMIST (SRM Institute of Science and Technology), is responsible for conducting the admission procedure every year. Admission to the university is also based on CUET scores. SRM University provides admission opportunities to deserving candidates in a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

• Shri Ramasamy Memorial Unversity (SRM University) is a private university in Gangtok which have been situated in 2013.

BCA- the candidate must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent, or a vocational 10+2 with minimum aggregate qualifying marks. 

B.Sc- the candidate must have cleared 10+2 on the respective or equivalent, or a vocational 10+2 with minimum aggregate qualifying marks.

M.Sc- Economics – Graduation in Economics OR any other Bachelor’s degree with Commerce, Science & Statistics. Moreover, the admission will be on merit basis.

M.Sc- Information Technology- for this course the candidate must have BCA/ B.Sc.(IT)/ B.Sc.(Computer Science) from a recognized university. Although, the admission is based on a merit basis. 

M.Sc- Hospitality and Management- The candidate must have done B.Sc in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Moreover, admission is based on a merit basis. 

MCA– the student must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the main subjects also for MCA (Lateral) the candidate must have BCA/ B.Sc.(IT/ Computer Science) with at least 60% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s degree with PGDCA degree. 

M.Com- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or have done BBA. The admission is based on a merit basis. 

MBA- any bachelor’s degree is acceptable along with the SRMJEEM/ GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT score followed by Psychometric Test, Group discussion/ Case discussion and Personal Interview.

MPH- the candidate must be having at least a bachelor’s degree also, the admission is based on the merit basis. 

Diploma Degree Courses Admission in SRM University

The university provides a Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Vocational Degree in Software Development and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Although, the admission is based on a merit basis. 

Although for a diploma degree, the candidate must have 10+2 or equivalent degree. Since for advanced and vocational degree, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant stream from a recognized university.
