Sri Krishnadevaraya University ( SKU ) is one of the public state university who embarked its journey in 1981 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Anantapur, in the Andhra Pradesh state of India . The university is affiliated by University Grants Commission ( UGC ). The university works on the students to be packed with high standards of knowledge and compete to face national and global challenges .

There are approximately 100 colleges who runs under the affiliation of university as SKU College of Arts , SKU College of Science , SKU College of Engineering and Technolgy , SKU College of Pharmacy and SKU College of Education etc. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate (UG) courses , postgraduate (PG) courses and doctoral courses in various specialisations through these colleges. The admission to this university is totally merit based as the candidate who wish to get admission in this university should appear in any one of national level or state level entrance exam according to the preferable course . Some of the entrance exam are EAMCET / SKUCET / GATE / PGECET / ICET / EDCET / SKURECET etc. Candidate must visit the portal of university and must be aware about all the necessary requirements before applying .
The fees structure is feasible when compared to other institutions. The fees for MBA course will be Rs. 37000/- (1st year fees). Candidates must have passed bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognised board. The fees for B. Tech. course is Rs. 40500/- (1st year fees).
