The Registration Schedule for Continuing Students (both Ph.D. and 2nd & 4th Semesters of the Master’s programs) for Winter Semester 2024-25 has started. The registration of Continuing students will start from 

9th January to 15th January 2024. 

South Asian University Admission 2024 – The last date to fill and submit South Asian University 2024 admission form has been extended to June 30 which earlier was MAy 6. The application should reach South Asian University by 14 March 2024 to June 2024. Each application will be scrutinized by the concerned faculty to determine the eligibility of the candidate and the decision of the University will be final in this regard.

For getting into the South Asian University, the students have to give an entrance test for the Ph.D. Programmes. Students from certain categories are exempted from the Entrance Test. The application will be closed on 31 March 2024. The Entrance Test will be held on 29 & 30 April 2024.

South Asian University Admission Eligibility Criteria.

However, candidates who are willing to appear in for the M.A Economics courses must have completed their 10+2 level along with the bachelor’s degree with at least 50 % marks in aggregate with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at any of their qualifying examinations.
Whereas candidates who are willing to apply in M.Sc. The biotechnology course must have scored at least 55 % marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination. Moreover, candidates must have Biology as one of their compulsory subjects in graduation or in 10+2 level examination.
Therefore to take admission in Ph.D. courses candidates must have completed their Master’s degree in the respected field with at least a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Along with that an Entrance Test & Personal Interview will also be based on the admission process .

Courses offered by South Asian University Admission

The SOUTH ASIA UNIVERSITY is accepting applications for admissions through both offline and online modes. The university conducts an entrance exam and the student gets admissions only after clearing this test.

Admission process starts on 7^th march 2024 and the last date of admission is 21 april 2024.

There are total 180 seats available .

The application fees is rs. 740 /-

The duration of entrance test is 120 minutes.

There are 42 exam centres in India and 14 outside India.

Then make the payment of rupees 750

For the purpose of filling admission form offline student need to collect the exam form from the university

Demand draft should be made in the favor of DEPUTY REGISTRAR, ADMISSION, SOUTH ASIA UNIVERSITY, NEW DELHI .

RESERVATION CRITERIA

4% for applicant from Afghanistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal & sri lanka

10% for applicants from outside the SAARC region

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in any of the relevant field for seeking admission in Doctoral Programs. An entrance test will be occur by the university for admission.

On the basis of the merit list, the South Asian University provides admission to the students. The students who find their name in the merit list means they can move forward towards the admission process. The students should score the highest marks in the entrance exam.

• To get the merit list you have to enter the login details. 
• Now the merit list will be downloaded. You can check your name and keep the printout for future use. 

Counseling:

When South Asian University declares the result then the university starts the counseling process. You need to register yourself and pay the counseling fees. To confirm your admission you have to reach on time with all documents at the counseling center otherwise your seat is given to another candidate.
