Sido Kanhu Murmu University is a public university that is situated in Dumka, Jharkhand and it was founded in 1922 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. The University is situated in one of the most backward regions of India. They are committed to provide easy access to quality education to the poor students. SKMU Eligibility Criteria
Sido Kanhu Murmu University has different eligibility criteria for both UG Level & PG Level and in order to get selected in the university, one need to meet all the criteria which are as follows:-
- UG Level
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with one of these subject- Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational Subjects. Also candidates should score at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved category.
- PG Level
Candidate should have a Graduation Degree.
- For MBA and MCA
Candidates had to qualify MAT by AIMA and AIMCET examination or qualify the entrance examination held by the University.
- For M.A, M.Sc. and M.com
Candidates are selected on the basis of qualifying the entrance examination held by the University.
- Ph.D.
Offers 3 years full time
- Candidates must have the master degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities.
- For SC/ST Candidates, they should score at least 55%.
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Ph.D. written test conducted by the University followed by the Interview. Preference will be given to the qualified candidates in the given examination i.e. CGIR-NET, GATE or UGC-NET
