Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University – SKLTSHU HORTICET: 2014 established SKLTSHU university is a public university situated in Hyderabad. It is associated with UGC and ICAR.
SKLTSHU HORTICET 2026 Admission
The Telangana government established the university. The university courses focus on research and education of horticulture. The university is the only university of its kind in Hyderabad and fourth in the whole country. It consists of two horticulture colleges and polytechnics. SKLTSHU Admission 2022 ICAR Application Correction has been started on July 2022.
The university offers courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma courses and programs at research levels. The university is very well equipped with facilities in modern research. Many government sectors are linked with the university for horticulture education.

SKLTSHU university Criteria of eligibility :
B. sc :
- the interested applicants must have completed their 10th and 12th and must have biology as their subject
- applicants must give the Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
- Only available for the horticulture honours.
M. sc:
applicants must have completed their B. Sc honours in horticulture from any reputable university. Students can take any specialization that they are interested in like fruit science, vegetable science, landscape and floriculture architecture or plantation, spices, aromatic and medicinal crops.
Ph. D.: applicants must have completed their masters in horticulture and should have specialization in floriculture, vegetable science, fruit science, landscape and floriculture architecture and medicinal, spices, plantation.
Diploma:
- applicants must have been awarded a 5.0 grade in their 10 + 2 excluding Hindi subject for the general category and reserved category, a 4.0 grade excluding the Hindi subject.
- Applicants must have been educated in rural areas for at least four years period.
SKLTSHU University REQUIREMENTS FOR UG AND PG APPLICATIONS
- Candidates who are eligible and want to get admission can apply for the university
- The mode of the admission process is online.
- Candidates need to visit the institute website, wherein all information about the courses is available.
- Fill in the details and attach the signature with a recent photograph.
- Recheck the application form after filling the information and before submitting.
- Click on submit button after depositing the form fee in the end.
SKLTSHU university REQUIREMENTS FOR UG AND PG ADMISSIONS
M. SC / DIPLOMA / Ph. D
- The admission is based on merit.
- The list of students who are selected is available at the university website once the university releases the merit list
- The students who are selected need to bring the documents to the university for verification.
- Day of admission, course fees should be deposited for whichever course the candidate is interested.
B. SC
- Seats are primarily filled in ICAR quota based on the student’s performance in the written examination.
- Other seats are given based on ranks that the candidates have obtained in EAMCET.
- Merit, Region, presidential order are also taken into consideration for the selection of the candidates.
- If there is a tie in the ranks, then the older applicant is given the admission
- If both age and ranks are tied, then the candidate’s marks in his optional subject will be considered.
- The candidates who are selected have to pay fees on admission day.

- Mark Sheets obtained for all years in UG and PG level examination
- Provisional / Degree Certificate of qualifying examination
- Age Proof (Date of Birth Certificate / 10th mark sheet / Aadhaar Card)

- Bonafide Certificate from the head of the Institute last attended
