Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College Kurukshetra is a well-known Haryana Ayurvedic college. This college was founded in 1975. Candidates who are passionate about Ayurvedic care can get started on their careers at this university. 

The Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College (SKGAC) provides all necessary facilities to the students, such as a library, auditorium, hostel, cafeteria, laboratory, hospital/medical facilities, and many more. It is affiliated with the Shri Krishna AYUSH University in Kurukshetra and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.

Courses offered by SKGAC Kurukshetra

SKGAC offers 2 courses, one in UG and another one in D-Pharma.

• Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and Surgery(BAMS)- Course duration is 5 years and 6 months
•  D-Pharmacy course that comes with a duration of 2 years.

Admission process:

For UG admission, candidates should apply through online with their NEET UG scorecard.

The minimum eligibility criteria for all courses are that candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects.

The minimum age to apply for courses is 17 years.

The detailed fee structure of both courses will be mentioned on the official website of the university. 

The candidates should know about the facilities inside the college. They are Library, Auditorium, Hostel, Cafeteria, etc.

UG and PG admission:

The Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College has different eligibility criteria for each course. You should follow the criteria for getting admission to the Ug and Pg courses. You must score valid marks in the secondary examination and pass the bachelor’s degree examination for admission to Ug and Pg programs respectively.

There are a few steps that are part of the counseling process. The following process should be in the candidate’s mind to remember. 

• Candidates are supposed to register on the official website.
•  Second, candidates should choose the course based on their interests.
• Later, the allotment of seats will be published online on the availability of vacancies.
• Finally, for counseling, candidates are supposed to visit the college directly for further process.
•  There would be another way of seat allotments too if candidates haven’t registered the first time.

Merit list and counseling:

For admission, the Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College follows the merit list. Candidates who belong to the Sc / St / OBC category need to score 40th percentile. Candidates who belong to the UR category need to score 50th percentile. The students need to clear the entrance examination and after that, they have to attend the counseling round. You have to carry the original documents for verification at the venue of counseling. If you reach on time at the venue then the college will not give you the second chance.
