SJSV Admission 2024-25: The SJSV was established as a state university in 1981( Puri, odisha). It has many affiliated colleges in state and outside the state. It is a Third Sanskrit institute in India. The university offers various specializations for Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, Diploma as well as PHD. The University provides education under different department such as Advaita Vedanta, Dharmashastra, Jyotirvigyan, Nyaya, Sahitya, Sarvadarshan, Veda, Vyakarana and Siksha Shastri.

Candidates who wish to opt for SJSV Admission 2024-25 must ensure to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria set by the university for admission to various courses which are offered by the university. Admission is offered on the basis of the merit list which the university will prepare by taking in account the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The online form for registering for SJSV Admission 2024-25 will be released in the month of April 2024.

Courses Offered:-

SJSV UG Admission 2024-25

BA(Shastri)- The Applicants who hold HSC certificate in any discipline may apply. Respective candidates may be selected on the basis of their past degree.
B.ED. (Shiksha Shastri)- The Applicants must hold BA(Shastri ) degree with at least 50% marks.

SJSV PG Admission 2024-25

MA Advaita Vedanta- As it is full time PG course, the aspirant must hold bachelor’s degree. The courses have limited seats.
MA Dharma Shastra- It is two years full time course. The Aspirants must have BA(Hons.) degree with at least 50% of marks to fulfil the criteria.
MA Jyotirvigyan- Applicants must hold degree of BA(Hons.) with at least 50% marks to fulfil the criteria.
MA Nyaya- As this is full time course, applicant must have bachelor’s degree with 50% marks at least.
MA Sahitya- Aspirants must hold BA Sahitya degree with 50% marks. The seats are limited ofcourse.
M.Phil .Veda- It is a full time, researched course. The aspirants must hold UG degree in relevant stream.
Phd Veda- The Applicants must have master’s degree and at least two years of teaching experience.

Application Process:- SJSV offers both online and offline application forms.

Offline –

Buy a form from campus.
Fill a form with neat handwriting.
Attach required documents with the form.
Make a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of University.
Post your form to the admission office of SJSV.

Online-

Click on the “ online application form” option.
Registration forms open- fill the form with valid details.
Verify and Log in to your account.
An application form appears- fill the form with valid details.
Make your payment via Debit or Credit card.
Upload your documents.
Click on the submit tab.

SJSV B.Ed Admission 2024-25

The candidate has passed Shastri / +3 (Arts) / B.A./M.A/Acharya or any equivalent examination thereto from a recognized University/recognized examining body after qualifying in the SSET (Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test) . Sanskrit as a subject for nontraditional stream i.e. +3 (Arts), B.A.

Admission Procedure:-

Admission to UG, PG and other courses will be given on the basis of entrance exams and also on the merit basis. The students who gets through the selection procedure will stand a chance for further casualities.

Admission to all the above courses shall be governed by the rules and regulations offered by the university. Selection of admission for UG, Diploma, PG and PG Diploma courses shall be made on the basis of merit. Selection into M.Phil and Ph.D. programs shall be made on the basis of an entrance test followed by personal interview conducted by the university.

Hostel Accommodation:

Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys. If they want to avail the hostel facility must be payment of prescribed fee on prescribed date.

Desirous students shall fill the application form for taking admission in the hostel.

Those who allotted rooms in the hostel must have to abide by all the rules and regulations of the Hostel made from time to time.
