SIST Admission 2024-25: SIST is a deemed university that was established in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College by Dr. Jeppiaar. Although SIST is recognized by UGC, AICTE, NAAC with grade “A”. Also awarded as Category “A” by MHRD, Govt of India. Meanwhile, SIST has also received ISO 9001:2008 certification. Sathyabhama University admission at all levels based on the University entrance exam.  Along with that there is one important information about which the university has updated recently. The application for the current year entrance exam is open now. You can apply for the same through their official website using the steps we have mentioned in this article ahead.

SIST Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

Therefore all candidates have to acknowledge the following eligibility criteria.

SIST Admission 2024-25 Courses

UG Course: 

B.E.: All the students must be cleared either Higher Secondary or equivalent examination along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with aggregate 60% marks. Furthermore, admission is also based on SAEEE Score.

B.Arch.: All the students must be cleared either 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum average of 45% marks along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

B.Tech: All candidates must have passed 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Apart from this, students also qualify SAEEE.

B. Des: Since all the students must have passed 10+2 examination with 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

B.A: The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary examination with a minimum of 45% marks in any specialisation.

B.Com: Although the candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination in Commerce with an aggregate of 50% marks.

B.D.S.: Although the candidate needs to have cleared 10+2 with aggregate of 60% marks along with Botany, Physics & Chemistry as their compulsory Subject.

BBA: As the candidate must have Cleared 10+2 examination with a sum of 50% marks.

B.Sc.: Although all the Candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects according to their specialisation.

PG Course:

M. Arch: As all the candidates must have passed degree in either B.Arch. or B.E. (Civil). 

M.Tech- Although, the Students must have an undergraduate degree in any of the B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., or other related branch.

Apart from this, candidates have to be qualify TANCET exam.

M.E. – Although, the Students must have an undergraduate degree in B.Tech, B.E. or M.Sc. with their respective specialisation.

M.Sc.: Since all students must have a Bachelor degree in Science with their respective subjects.

M.C.A.: All students must have an undergraduate degree with Mathematics/ Statistic as main Subject with aggregate 50% marks.

M.A.: As per SIST, All the students must have an undergraduate degree in their relevant field.

MBA: Since all students must have a Bachelor Degree in any of the Engineering, Arts & Science With aggregate 50% marks. Meanwhile admission is also based on CAT Score.

LL.B: As the students must have Undergraduate degree in any specialisation.

BA LL.B & B.COM LL.B & BBA LL.B: All the students must have passed Higher Secondary examination from a recognised board. 

Ph. D: Although all the students must have a post-graduation degree in any of the M.E. /M. Tech /M. Arch /M. Sc. /M.B.A/M. Phil /M.S. along with have to clear the entrance exam.

M. Phil: As the students with post-graduation degree.

There is point to be noted that candidates who are under reserved category will have given the relaxation of 5% of marks.

The University provides admission in Under Graduate Engineering, Technology, Architecture and B. Design programmes on the basis of Sathyabama All India Online Entrance Examination. Students can apply online for entrance examination through the official website of the University i.e. www.sathyabama.ac.in

 Therefore steps to apply:

• Application form can be filled through online from the University website Portal and offline from the Sathyabhama University campus.

• In case of online process, after submission of Application form you have to submit the application fee through available payment options of Rs.1000/-.
• In case of offline process candidates can also receive Application form through post by sending them a request letter with clearly mentioned candidates mailing address in capital letters along with a demand draft of Rs.1100/- in favour of Sathyabama University, payable at Chennai. This request letter should reach before the due date to “The Co-ordinator, Entrance Examination, Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai-600 119”
• Moreover those students filled online form have to keep application number, login username and password for future reference.

• Students Admission will be done after the entrance test & counselling process.

Placement Facility:

Placement training is offered to students of this University at different stages of their academics. Industrial training are identified, training programs are designed and facilitated to students. The training modules are updated every time based on the current industry expectations and interactions with the recruiters. The training helps to develop student’s aptitude, technical and soft skills.

Seat Availability and Reservation System:

There are some seats reserved for those candidates who are under reserved category. The main motive of this scheme to promote education among those candidates who are from backward classes.

Sports Quota: Candidates who are well in sports, the university providing 50 seats (both UG and PG) are allocated. Students who take admission under sports quota also given full wavier of tuition fee and hostel fee.
