Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Admission 2024-25: SMVDU Application Form, Courses & Last Dates

Admissions for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for the year 2024 are currently open through CUET. Registrations for CUET UG 2024 have been reopened and the application form must be submitted by April 11. The CUET UG 2024 exam will take place from May 21 to May 31, 2024. Additionally, the CUET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from June 1 to June 10, 2024.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) is located in the lap of Trikuta Hill, near the shrine Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Katra in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. SMVDU Campus 

The SMVDU campus spreads over 500 acres with well-connected roads. The beautiful campus consists of a separate administrative block, conference hall, central library, departmental lab, computer lab, separate hostel for both boys & girls, cafeteria,  and all modern facilities.

SMVDU has its own transportation, catering facility, sports facility, telephone exchange, medical aid center, and guest house. Banks and ATMs are also inside the campus.

SMVDU Admission 2024-25

To enroll in any undergraduate, postgraduate, or other programs, students must first complete their intermediate education at any affiliated institution in India. Candidates applying for admission in SMVDU must satisfy eligibility criteria as per the university guidelines. SMVDU conducts its own examination for admission in the university. The SMVDU also facilitate meritorious students’ admission through scholarship programmes. Candidates have to read all the details which are given in the prospectus.

SMVDU Academic programs  2024-25

Undergraduate Course: Candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream with at least 50% mark and must qualify JEE Main or Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering with a 60% aggregate from an Institution (AICTE approved) in a relevant branch.

B.Tech- 10+2 + JEE Main

Post Graduate Course: Candidates must have exceeded Graduation from any recognized university with the associated stream with minimum 50% mark of total score.

MBA- Graduation with 50%+CAT

M.Tech- Graduation + GATE

B.Tech(Lateral)- Graduation with 75%+ JEE Main

M.Sc- Graduation + JUET

M.A- Graduation 

Ph.D: The admission process for PHD candidates follows either by qualifying UGC-NET/JRF/SLET entrance for direct admission or  by appearing for the University Entrance shortlisted on the basis of marks.
